Evgeny Genchev is a Bulgarian pianist who has gained wide recognition and critical acclaim as a musician, composer, educator, actor and writer.

Evgeny has given numerous recitals and concerts across Europe, North America, China and Austral, and has won prizes at more than fifteen national and international piano competitions. He has had multiple appearances on various TV channels such as RTL, ARD, ZDF, BBC, Deutsche Welle, Pro7, BNT, bTV where he performed on TV shows such as Heidi Klum’s Next Top Model, MoMa, Willkommen 2017 (at Brandenburg Gate for over 600 thousand people), Helene Fischer Christmas Show alongside Henele Fischer and Schlagerbooom with Florian Silbereisen. Genchev has performed in many renowned concerts halls such as Kaufman Centre, New York; Philharmonie, Munich; Alte Oper, Frankfurt; Bridgewater Hall, Manchester; Mercedes-Benz Arena, Berlin; Centro Nacional de las Artes, Mexico City; Westfalenhallen, Dortmund; LSO St Luke’s and Milton Court Hall, London; Glinka Philharmonic Hall, St Petersburg; Philharmonic Hall , Warsaw; National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Beijing; and National Palace of Culture, Sofia. In recent seasons he performed with the Orquesta Filarmónica de la UNAM (OFUNAM) in Mexico City, the Polish Baltic Frederic Chopin Philharmonic in Gdansk, the LISMA Festival Orchestra in New York, OSUANL in Monterrey, and the Plovdiv Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with conductors such as Massimiliano Caldi, Arkady Leytush, Jesus Medina, Yan-Pascal Tortelier and Jan Latham-Koenig.[2]

In 2019, Genchev formed a partnership with the member of the internationally acclaimed group 2Cellos, Luka Šulić, with whom he embarked on regular tours around the world.[3] He has also recently collaborated with Victoria Georgieva, with whom they formed a duet and performed Evgeny's arrangement of the popular Bulgarian song 'Hubava is, moya goro'.

Besides his life as a multi-dimensional artist, Genchev is a partner in the creative company 2927 that specialises in design, digital, film, photography, and has worked with some of the largest names like Pepsico, Gillette, Times of India, L’Oréal, Nivea, Men’s Health, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Leander Paes, Rahul Dravid, various politicians and sportspersons.[4]

Evgeny Genchev was born in Bulgaria and began his piano studies at the Dobrin Petkov National School of Music and Dance. On completion of his course, Genchev was presented with the Dobrin Petkov Grand Award for Achievements in Music. He is also an alumni of the prestigious Royal Academy of Music, London and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, Evgeny has received widespread recognition and has performed concerts on several continents. He has shared the stage with stars of the caliber of Tom Jones, Lady Gaga, Helene Fischer, Andreas Gabalier, and others. He has won over 15 national and international piano awards, including the prestigious "Dobrin Petkov" prize for achievements and contributions to music.

Recently, Evgeny has been working with Luka Šulić, a member of the internationally recognized group 2Cellos, with whom he regularly tours worldwide. The virtuoso musician is a frequent guest at numerous events and programs on major global television networks, with some of his most impressive performances including his appearance on Heidi Klum's show "Germany's Next Top Model" and his participation in the New Year's Eve spectacle at the Brandenburg Gate in 2017, watched by millions live and on television. Additionally, Evgeni was part of the music group Symphoniacs, with whom he signed with Universal Music and released an album. .[6][7][8]
