This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Ellen Inutan is a Filipino Chemist specializing in Analytical Chemistry and applications of Spectrometric Methods of Analysis. She is known for her work in the development and optimization of new inlet and vacuum ionization methods for mass spectrometry, with emphasis on MAIV or Matrix-assisted Ionization in vacuum, and in LSI, and MALDI.[1]
In 1994, Inutan received her undergraduate training, and eventually her master's degree in 2001 at the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology in Iligan City, Philippines. In 2013, she received her PhD in Chemistry at the Wayne State University, under the advisory of awarded Swiss chemist Sarah Trimpin[2]. Her research primarily revolves around new ionization models and techniques such as LSI-i[3], and MAIv[4]. After her postdoctoral work at Wayne State University, she returned to Mindanao State University - IIT as a full-time Professor in the Department of Chemistry.[5]
Inutan is currently the CFO of Trimpin's startup company, MS™ Solutions.[6]
She is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Rumble Fellowship Award, and the David Bolz Award.[2]
