Mohammed Abdul Razzaq Al-Zobaie Al-Shammari, also known as Muhammad Al-Arab, is an Arab journalist, writer, thinker, documentary filmmaker, and researcher in the field of blockchain, metaverse, web3 and communication sciences. He is a prominent figure who has made his mark in the world of journalism, media and mass communications. He was chosen as a peace ambassador in the conflict between the tribes of South Sudan and received an honor from the President of South Sudan. He is the Director and Chief Correspondent of Al Arabiya, Bahrain
Early life and education
editDr. Mohammed Al-Arab was born on May 30, 1975 in Fallujah to Iraqi parents. He completed his early education in Iraq Fallujah from School of Creed. He completed his diploma in chemical industries from the Technical Institute in Anbar in 1995. He went on to complete his bachelor's degree in Engineering and Chemical Industries from Technical Engineering College, Baghdad. In 2002, Dr. Mohammed Al-Arab obtained a Bachelor of Media from University of Baghdad, College of Mass Communication). He completed his diploma in Islamic studies from Imam Al-Azam University in Baghdad in the 2003. He obtained his master's degree in business administration from Cairo University in 2012 and his doctorate in international relations from Egypt in 2020.
Career
editDr Mohammad Al Arab career in the field of media spans over 30 years. He has held many profiles in the field of journalism and mass communication. He is also a Press editor, writer, presenter, reporter, researcher in the field of digital currencies, metaverses, and blockchains. He is the founder of the first Arab digital currency known as HZMCOIN.[1] and serves as the Chairman of the Arab Cryptocurrency Council. He developed the first metaverse platform[2] in the Arabs Nemo Land Kingdom in the Arabs Nemo Land Kingdom[3] and Majhool, a messaging and communications app built on blockchain technology.
He is the CEO & founder[4] of the social network Pangeanis.[5]
He worked as the main correspondent for Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channels from 2006 to 2023 and the position of Chief Correspondent of Sky News Arabia. He is director of the office of Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channel in Bahrain.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Arab has also been a journalist in several other international media outlets such as AFP, reuters, Associated Press, Sky News, NBC News, and others.
He was chosen as a peace ambassador and president of Peace Without Borders in France,[6] and personally handed South Sudanese President Salva Kiir the Peace Medal from Peace Without Borders in 2020.[7][8]
