"Dhan koila" ("ଢଣ କୋଇଲା" in odia) is a rare tool that exemplifies the ingenuity and creativity of the tribal community of Odisha.   It is not just an instrument but a symbol of rich musical heritage   This instrument is mainly found in the Ganjam district of Odisha, where it plays an important role in traditional storytelling and folk music.

The origin of "dhan koila" can be traced back to the tribal people of Odisha who used everyday materials to make musical instruments.  Together, they form the core of this unique instrument, symbolizing the harmony between nature and human creativity.

What makes "Dhan Coal" really special is its construction   Unlike traditional musical instruments made of wood or metal, the dhan koila is made from a clay pot, a bamboo flute, and a bow.   Each component adds a different element to the instrument, resulting in a harmonious blend of sounds that are both mesmerizing and soulful.
