Crossover Crisis is a Friday Night Funkin' song based on the likes of Triple Trouble from its VS. Sonic.EXE, being worked on since November 2023, and still being developed by its creator, Mandos. The song features various characters (such as Crash Bandicoot, Mario, Sonic, Peter Griffin and etc.) turned into corpses singing against the Friday Night Funkin' protagonist, Boyfriend. The main antagonist is a custom character called Blue Screen, a character made of different elements from Windows, such as having the blue screen of death for shoulder pads. Each episode is published on Youtube.

The song is planned to be hours long, like various other songs like this within the Friday Night Funkin' community.

History

edit

Crossover Crisis' first version released in August of 2023, where the song was 33 minutes long and was originally cancelled after the first episode. During late November 2023, Crossover Crisis would be announced to return with revamped art and more characters, as well as trying not to get cancelled. As of writing this article, the song has reached its 3 hour mark. The revamped version would be inspired by two songs, being Triple Trouble Kaizo DX created by Scratch Bandicoot and Multiversal Mayhem (a work in progress song) created by MeshupMesh.

The Blue Screen character had originally been a Battle For Dream Island OC made in 2022, until being redesigned into the design featured within Crossover Crisis.

Plot

edit

The Crossover Crisis plot is not very huge. The story goes that computer user named Anthony was making a zip bomb, but it crashed during export. This failed export would create Blue Screen, who would manifest his form by using objects from Windows (such as pop-up screens). Blue Screen would then give the user a heart attack when scaring him with a distorted picture of the character, and loud, irritating noises. After at least 5 days after the heart attack, Blue Screen would begin to enter video game worlds using emulators. The very first world that had been struck was the Crash Bandicoot dimension. Afterwards, he infested cartoon worlds, movie worlds, web cartoon worlds and many more. He would also create "Minions", which are Creepypasta type characters created by Blue Screen himself.

Teasers

edit

There have been various teasers posted on YouTube about Crossover Crisis, featuring characters such as Sheldon Lee Cooper from The Big Bang Theory and Slender Man. Teasers weren't just posted on YouTube, but also the creator's Discord server.
