Unlike non-commercial activities (Activities that are not related to earning money through buying and selling things)[1] ,commercial activities refer to for-profit activities that generate money[2] in professional formats and carried out in order to gain profit.

In commercial activities, goods and services are exchanged between two or more parties with the sole purpose of making a profit .Commercial activities include : Buying, selling, leasing or otherwise providing something of economic value such as goods, services, information, etc.

The term “commercial activity” means all activities of industry and trade, including, but not limited to, the buying or selling of commodities and activities conducted for the purpose of facilitating such buying and selling: Provided, however, That it does not include exhibition of commodities by museums or similar cultural or historical organizations[3]

Commercial refers to activities in which money plays a major role.

Commercializing a good or service means introducing it to the market, that is, making it the subject of profit-making activity.[4]
