History
editThe company was founded as a startup on April 13, 2014, by Dmitry Spiridonov and Konstantin Yan.
In September 2014, the company became self-sufficient[3]. The company's revenue grows by 100% annually[4].
The Cloud Group of Companies
editOn February 17, 2022, the company CloudPayments underwent a rebranding and consolidated all its business lines under the single brand Cloud.[5].
On May 17, 2022, Dmitry Spiridonov, co-founder of CloudPayments, stepped down from his position as the Managing Director of Cloud. Pavel Vlasov became the company's General Director[6].
As of July 1, 2022, the CEO of CloudPayments became Tatyana Glazacheva, former General Director of Robokassa[7].

editIn 2014, the European office of CloudPayments was opened in Riga, Latvia. This allowed the company to work with clients from the European Union countries.
In the spring of 2016, a division of CloudPayments was established in Kazakhstan. In 2018, CloudPayments Kazakhstan was the first in Kazakhstan to connect its clients to the Google Pay payment acceptance system[9]. And in 2019, they were among the first to connect the Apple Pay payment acceptance system[10].
In 2022, the launch of divisions in Uzbekistan[11] and the Republic of Belarus is planned[12].
