Central 23 is a design studio based in London. It was founded in 2016 by Luke Shelley and Marcus Ereira, who were best friends and grew up on the same street in North West London.
Previously, they had founded and sold a tutoring business called Tavistock Tutors, and bootstrapped Central 23 with the profits from the sale.
Their first product was a Kim Kardashian greeting card, which was sold to Urban Outfitters. They now employ 12 people and offer over 8,000 products across cards, gift wrap, children's products and kitchen products. Their products are available in 10,000 stores across 12 countries worldwide.
