Bernard Sarfo Twumasi (born 13 August 1997) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a forward for IL Express.[1][2][3]
Club career
editIn July 2022, he joined Norwegian side IL Express. He made his debut for the club in the Norsk Tipping-Ligaen (3. Divisjon) on 13 August 2022 in a 2-1 away defeat against Fredrikstad 2[4] after scoring a hat-trick for Express' B team 3 days earlier[5][6]. He made his competitive debut in the NM Cup, scoring against Våg FK in the qualifying round; and then his 4. Divisjon debut on 20 March 2023 against the same club assisting the winning goal in a 4-3 thriller.
On 29 April 2023, Bernard scored his first goal of the season in a 5-1 home win against Hisøy IL in the 4. Divisjon[7]
Style of play
editBernard is considered to be a forward with strong technical qualities in addition to his outstanding pace, agility, and ability to beat the defensive line by making attacking runs into space both on and off the ball[8][9][10].
