Banesco USA is an independent Florida state-chartered bank, with $3.81 billion in assets[1], regulated by the Florida Office of Financial Regulation (OFR) and a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Operating in Florida and Puerto Rico, it is independent of Banesco in other countries.

History

Founded in 2006, Banesco USA serves the commercial real estate sector, small and middle-market businesses, and individuals in both Florida and Puerto Rico.

Banesco was the only bank in Florida and Puerto Rico to receive capital from the U.S. Treasury Department's Emergency Capital Investment Program (ECIP) in 2022.[2]

Banesco USA currently has six locations between South Florida and Puerto Rico[5], including its headquarters in Doral[6], business centers in Aventura, Brickell, Coral Gables and Hialeah, a loan and deposit production office in Palm Beach County, and a business center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The bank offers services that include savings and loan products.
