Matthew Joines[1](born on 27 May 2006)[2], known mononymously as Asteria, is a singer, mostly known for his song "What You Want" featuring Hatsune Miku.[3] There was also a remix of the song with 6arelyhuman and Kets4eki.[4]

Career
editAsteria's old name used to be Crayola (stylized in all lowercase), however he changed it for unknown reasons. In 2021, Asteria's career would start as he would mix beats for other people[1]. In 2022, he would gain over 20,000 followers on SoundCloud[1] and released his first song "Paranoid" when he was 13 years old[5]. In 2023, Asteria started working with an artist under the name of Kets4eki and would go on to make multiple songs with him[6]. As of 14 June 2024, Asteria currently has 2.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify[7] and 25,500 followers on SoundCloud[8].
