Asia Kelsey Kent (born 13 March 2007) is a Gibraltarian swimmer.
Swimming career
editInternational competitions
editKent was born in Gibraltar, and first competed internationally at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham where she finished 24th in the Women's 50-metre breaststroke covering the distance in 34.47, 21st in the Women's 100-metre breaststroke with a time of 1:15.8, 11th in Women's 200-metre breaststroke clocking in at 2:43.98 and 55th in the Women's 50-metre freestyle in a time of 29.17.
At the 2022 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m) in Melbourne, Kent finished 43rd in the heats of the Women's 100-metre breaststroke in 1:13.80 and 29th in the Woman's 200-metre breaststroke in 2:36.22.
At the 2023 Island Games in Guernsey, Kent finished 4th in the Women's 50-metre breaststroke with at time of 33.28, 3rd in the Women's 100-metre breaststroke covering the distance in 1:12.48, 1st in the Women's 200-metre breaststroke and a pool record of 2:34.30, 5th in the Women's 100-metre individual medley clocking in a 1:07.18 and 9th in the Mixed 4 × 50-metre freestyle relay with a time of 1:49.57.
At the 2023 Youth Commonwealth Games in Trinidad and Tobago, Kent finished 9th in the Woman's 50-metre breaststroke clocking in with a time of 34.03, 7th in the Woman's 100-metre breaststroke with a time of 1:12.86, 8th in the Woman's 200-metre breaststroke covering the distance in 2:39.13 and 37th in the Woman's 50-metre freestyle in a time of 28.96
