Kosisochukwu Onono (born 2001), also known professionally as Archy Moor, is an Irish rapper originally born in Lagos, Nigeria but based from Dublin, Ireland.[1][2]

Early life edit

He grew up in Dublin, Ireland in a home without much rap music, exploring other genres such as rock and pop before concluding with rap when Moor was 16.[3]

Career edit

Archy Moor released his first single, Moonboy, in 2019. This song gained him attention as many were bewildered by his lackadaisical flow and penmanship while rapping.[4] The follow up single The Long Road featuring Osquello was released in 2020.[5]

Archy Moor released his debut EP Bonnie Hill, an ode to his being as a Nigerian-born, Dublin-based artist in 2023 and quickly followed it up with his sophomore EP Cosy in the same year through London label Cloud X.[6][7]

In 2023, Archy performed to a sold-out capacity crowd at Dublin venue The Helix supporting US rapper Denzel Curry.[8] This was followed by two sold-out headline shows in Dublin and London.[9] February 2024, Archy supported UK rap duo Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn on their sold-out European tour in Oslo, Cologne and Brussels.[10][11]
