Diamond Tema

Diamond Tema[n 1] (born June 19, 1994[9]) is an Albanian-Turkish writer and YouTuber. He moved to Turkey in 1996, where he completed his education and performed his military service in Şırnak between 2014 and 2015.[10][11] Tema lived in Greece and Italy for about two years and identifies himself as Turkish. He worked as a broadcast director for local TV channels and produced documentaries on Ottoman history for the Istanbul Municipality.[12][2]

Arrest warrant

Diamond Tema received death threats from individuals defending sharia law after discussing a hadith about Prophet Muhammad on a YouTube program.[15]

Turkish Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç made a statement on his X account.[16] Tunç recalled that an official investigation was initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of "openly inciting the public to hatred and hostility" due to the insulting, offensive, and provocative expressions used in the videos he shared on social media.

Tunç stated that an arrest warrant was issued for Diamond Tema due to his presence in Albania. "Provocative, and offensive expressions about the religion of Islam and our beloved Prophet can never be accepted," he said.[17][18][19][20]
