The Denmark Series (Danish: Danmarksserien) is the fourth tier in the Danish football league system. Teams are divided into four groups of ten. The top team in each group is promoted to the Danish 2nd Division Group 1 or Group 2 as is appropriate for each club geographically. The bottom three teams in each group are relegated to the regional Copenhagen Series, Zealand Series, Lolland-Falster Series, Funen Series, or Jutland Series as is appropriate for each club geographically.

Clubs in the Denmark Series are participants in the Danish Cup tournament. The reserve teams of top-flight Danish Superliga and second-tier Danish 1st Division clubs are allowed to play in the Denmark Series, but 1st Division reserve teams cannot win promotion, as they must stay at least two leagues below their first team squads.
- As a result of a structure change in the Danish league system, the 2020–21 Denmark Series consistes of four groups of eleven teams each. After the regular season, the top four teams in Groups 1 and 2 face off in play-offs for a spot in the 2020–21 Danish 2nd Divisions, and the same is the case for Groups 3 and 4, which means that two teams promote. One team from the West groups promote and one from the East groups. Numbers 5 to 11 after the regular season are gathered in two groups with 14 teams in each (Groups 1 and 2 + Groups 3 and 4), where the teams meet the teams from the opposite pool once, which means seven matches in total (the top teams get one extra home game). The teams take all earned points and goals scored with them to the playoffs. A total of 16 teams will relegate this season, with the 16 relegated teams being distributed depending on the geographical location of the eight relegated teams from the Danish 2nd Division.
