Ctenotus helenae, also known commonly as the clay-soil ctenotus, is a species of skink, a lizard in the family Scincidae. The species is endemic to Australia.

Etymology
editThe specific name, helenae, is in honour of Helen Louise Pianka who was married to American herpetologist Eric R. Pianka.[3]
Geographic range
editWithin Australia, C. helenae is found in Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia.[1][2]
Habitat
editC. helenae is found in wide variety of habitats including forest, shrubland, grassland, and desert.[1]
Behaviour
editC. helenae is terrestrial and diurnal.[2]
