Contested deletion
editThis category should not be speedy deleted as being unpopulated, because it's brand new, and there is at least one page in it. There should be subcats too. --User:Pedant (talk) 16:32, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Contested deletion
editThis category should not be speedy deleted as being unpopulated, because it was populated until one admin just unilaterally depopulated the entire category. It's a real thing, and it's discussed in our articles (e.g., Lynchings in the United States. The pages there were in this category should be restored, or at least the noncontroversial additions. The category is only empty temporarily due to a pending issue at WP:ANI. It should not be speedy deleted on that basis. If the category is to be deleted on some other basis then it should go through an AfD. R2 (bleep) 20:19, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
- This category was not officially deleted at WP:CfD. Therefore, any contributor is welcome to populate it. Just be very careful what belongs here. For example, I think that Lynchings in the United States probably belongs there, but one needs some RS telling that was "terrorism". My very best wishes (talk) 02:26, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
