Career
editBodrug's first job was at a radio station.[2] She also created her PlantYou Instagram account in 2016 to document plant-based cooking, eventually becoming a full-time food blogger.[2] She published her first cookbook in 2022,[2] and her second cookbook in 2024.[3]
In 2024, Bodrug authored PlantYou: Scrappy Cooking which focuses on plant-based low-waste recipes. The book includes a lemon peel pasta recipe. Bodrug has stated that one of the largest reasons she went plant-based is because of the environmental implications of animal agriculture.[4]
