Alberto Fernández (sport shooter)

Alberto Fernández (born Madrid, 16 June 1983) is a Spanish trap shooter.[1] He competes in Trap Shooting and Olympic pit, being triple world champion in the years 2010[2], 2013[3] and 2018[4].

He has won three gold medals at the World Shooting Championships, between 2010 and 2018, and five medals at the European Shooting Championships, between 2006 and 2015.

He competed in three Summer Olympics, being in 33rd place in Beijing 2008[5], 25th in London 2012 and 17th in Rio de Janeiro 2016[6].

Alberto Fernández is a very appreciated shooter and valued by the main sponsor brands of the international market.

For years it has maintained two renowned brands, such as RIO Ammunition[7] and Perazzi[8] Shotguns.

RIO cartridges (Sports cartridges)Edit

This multinational has always supported the athlete, giving him the opportunity to represent his ammunition throughout his sporting life, starting with GB, later VINCI, later MAXAM, and since 2014 with RIO STAR TEAM EVO cartridges.[9]

Perazzi shotgunsEdit

The Italian weapons factory considers Alberto one of its most internationally recognized signings, showed in its continuous renewal of the contract, and the presence of its image in its social networks and Perazzi events.

Other interestsEdit

One of his great passions are electric guitars, which has led him to be one of the founders and components of the band "Los Geiperman"[10]. He's the solo guitar of this group, who pays tribute to spanish group "Hombres G" and perform concerts all around Spain since 2010.
