Abhimanyu (born c. 1964) is an Asian elephant who, from 2020 has been the lead elephant and the carrier of the Golden Howdah at the Mysore Dasara and also a best kumki elephant with 125+ elephant and 15+ tiger captures in India.[3] He was named after Abhimanyu, the son of the Arjuna from the Hindu epic Mahabharatha.[4]
