2024–25 Hockey India League

The 2024–25 Hockey India League will be the sixth season of the Hockey India League. It will be held from 28 December 2024 to 1 February 2025.[1]

On 10 April 2023, Hockey India announced Big Bang Media Ventures as its exclusive commercial and marketing partner agency.[2] The league has 8 teams for the men's and 4 for the women's tournaments.[3]

Format

Eight teams for the men's tournament and four teams for the women's tournament are placed in a group to play round-robin matches. The top four teams qualify for the knockout stage.[4] Playing eleven, teams had to have a minimum of two and a maximum of five foreign players.[5]

Venues

The matches will be held across two cities, Ranchi and Rourkela, with all women's games taking place at the Jaipal Singh Stadium in Ranchi and all men's games at the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela.[6][7]
