The 1781 North Carolina gubernatorial election was held in June 1781 in order to elect the Governor of North Carolina. Candidate Thomas Burke was elected by the North Carolina General Assembly as he ran unopposed. The exact amount of votes cast in this election is unknown.[1]

On election day in June 1781, Candidate Thomas Burke was elected by the North Carolina General Assembly. Burke was sworn in as the 3rd Governor of North Carolina on 26 June 1781.[2]
