I would like to recommend that those directly involved in Film articles make it a goal to get Tokyo Story up to at least B class status by the end of this year. Its been a long time coming and given the film's prestige (even being named the greatest film of all time in the Directors section of the Sight and Sound list) I believe that it is warranted. In my opinion the problem is a lack of solid content and information about the film's actual production. Perhaps Japanese speaking contributors could volunteer their time to find a good biography of Ozu or some other book that has a more detailed description of the making of the film. Otherwise the films critical reception, themes, style and legacy could certainly be fleshed out. As always, just a friendly suggestion.--Deoliveirafan (talk) 02:56, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
