Ah I thought your account was OK now? I could have sworn I saw your normal account show up on my watchlist by reverting an article exclaiming "THIS IS AN ENCYCLOPEDIA"! LOL. I can't believe its a year ago that we were in the middle of sorting out the Bollywood Blog license and attempting to get Zinta to FA. I miss having you, Pa7, BollywoodDreamz, and some of the others around. Most of the time I feel pretty alone on here.

Ahh. Mr. Bigglesworth likes you all too. Purr Purr.. I guess its the same with lots of actors and famous people that in a way you feel you know them despite never having met them, only seeing them on a screen. Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 20:02, 22 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey it was workin yesterday!, you reverted SRK as Shshshsh?, I knew I'd seen it on my watchlist Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 20:18, 22 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hiyah I'll look into it in amo, looks a very interesting film. I;ve expanded the Pierce Brosnan article today with some important quotes. I can't believe it didn't have any, or many quotes on his performances from critics and it is a GA. Brosnan is one of the most poetic actors I can think of in interviews and has said some amazing things. The words he spoke about his wife Cassandra Harris who died from cancer were very moving. Oh and remember we discussed what actress I would have liked to have dated in the "oldies" period. I forgot. I love Audrey Hepburn. Stunning. I didn't much like her hairstyle though. Give her long flowing flocks rather than the cropped fringe short cut and with that face she'd look even better.Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 19:12, 24 October 2008 (UTC) OK here goes.Reply

Zinta next starred in Samir Karnik's Heroes, a road movie about two final-year film students who, as a part of their assignment, travel a thousand miles across North India. Their task, is to deliver three un-posted letters written by army personnel who lost their lives during the 1999 Kargil war to their families. The film follows the journey of these students in three chapters and how they meet and are inspired by family and friends of these soldiers. Zinta is featured in the first chapter as Salman Khan's war widow, Kuljeet Kaur, a woman who becomes the sole breadwinner of the family and single-handedly raises her son. In preperation for the role, Zinta attended Anupam Kher's acting school to learn the dialect and mannerisms of a Punjabi woman.

OK?Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 20:34, 24 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

That doesn't matter, you don't want too much detail. I think the reader can understand it Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 20:42, 24 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

A suggestion (given that I don't know about the film): The film follows this journey in three chapters, examining how the students are inspired by the family and friends of the soldiers they meet, as they come to terms with the trauma of their loss.

Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 21:15, 24 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Looks perfect to me and will make an excellent new addition. You mean you didn't want to ask Giro about it? We'll have to take Kareena Kapoor to FA sometime, but I don't know what can be added to make it featured quality. The subject matter is tricky to write to FA standard. I've just been watching Fawlty Towers. BASILLLLL! "Don't mention the war" LOL. DO you like Fawlty Towers?, I wish they'd made more episodes. Yikes I was just in the bathroom a minute ago and hit the scales - 100 kilos dead on. 15 stone 12 or 222 pounds. I've gained 6 pounds in 6 months since I last looked. Do you think I am a big fat fella who is overweight LOL? I swear I'm not even fat. Honest! I;ve always been very fit looking. You're probably picturing the guy on the cover of You've Come a Long Way, Baby LOL. Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 00:30, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Out of curiosity how many Bollywood films do you think you've watched to date? Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 10:15, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I know I was kidding and I know he has good writing skills, shame he doesn't write articles himself. Wow 2-3,000? thats a huge number far more than the total number of films I have ever seen! I'm impressed Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 11:05, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

And the oldest Bollywood film you've seen? Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 13:01, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pretty full bag then in terms of period. Thats amazing. I have to admit though, forgive me if I'm wrong, that many of the films from 1985-1995 in terms of what I;ve read of the plots seem to be very unoriginal and plagarised from Hollywood action films of this era, you know what I mean. I don't doubt that there are films from this period which are excellent like (Mississippi Masala and Baazigar for instance) but many of them seem to involve a cop (often corrupt) and a gang or something, pretty girl is held hostage or something. You know young man from a good family goes to the city to earn gets involved with crooks and all that and falls in love. Am I wrong, please let me know? From what I've seen I love the look of the films from the 1950s-early 1980s, particular the ones with Nargis and Dilip Kumar, and Amitabh and Rekha in the 70s and early 80s but I'm not exactly qualified to comment on any of them as I've only seen about five films all the way through on youtube, various clips and reading the plots etc on here. Its a shame more of them aren't subtitled in english. Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 14:42, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

What article was that? I hope I didn't do anything bad? I don't tend to look at page histories! Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 17:41, 25 October 2008 (UTC) Ah. You do realise that I forget within minutes what I;ve been editing!! my mind was engroosed in Klaus Kinski Italian giallo films!! Ah yes, its funny but you can root out the good films; that was one of the good films from the otherwise poor period I guess (having never seen an inch of footage but now doubt I will be tempted to check it out on YouTube). I also have increasingly seen the allure of Rekha and her sex appeal! I too wish you had time to edit more film articles or improve some of the ones we already have but you can't do it all!Blofeld of SPECTRE (talk) 17:49, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I didn't see your last message until a minute ago. To be honest mate most people I know in the UK could not tell you a single thing about Bollywood other than it is Indian let alone be able to decide whether its stupid or not. However for those who may have caught a glimpse yes some people seem to think that every film is the same, and the same old "grating voices" (as I heard one critic say) singing along to dances and the actresses are brainless and are little more than models. If they were less ignorant, naturally they would see that there is variation in many films and that some of the actors are actually highly talented and intelligent people. I reckon if you did a poll in the UK less than 2% would have heard of Amitabh Bachchan. Dr. Blofeld (talk) 21:55, 25 October 2008 (UTC) I know. But you know how ignorant some people are!! That guy has probably seen two or three films of hers max and made his mind up Dr. Blofeld (talk) 15:59, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Have a listen to this. Celtic harp, last track on the Clannad album I have. Beautiful isn't itDr. Blofeld (talk) 18:17, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Tis OK I forgot to tick the box. Dr. Blofeld 13:34, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps that critic will think more of Zinta now that she has won that award. OMG Yoel Zussman is a dead ringer for my grampy, you know the one that took me to Roath Park, which strangely is not the Jewish one but the other one! That guy bears a strong family resemblance. I didn't realise many Israeli people had blue eyes, although it seems he is Polish. I know it is common for Arabic people to have green eyes though. Dr. Blofeld 20:44, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I hadn't heard no. Dr. Blofeld 20:35, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not really. I know the name and that shes a good singer but don't really know much about her Dr. Blofeld 20:58, 28 October 2008 (UTC) Brrrrrr. Its suddenly gone horribly cold here today. Really miserable depressing cold day. Makes me feel like not editing or in the mood for wikipedia!Reply

Did you know about the Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand controversy. See here. I usually find Jonathan Ross exceptionally funny and a great TV host and film critic but he has really overstepped the mark this time, which is probably because of his company, the dirty Russell Brand. Very childish to do what they did but I think too much fuss has been created over it. Ringing up Andrew Sachs (Manuel from Fawlty Towers now 78 years old) went horribly wrong but it is partly true about his grandaughter being a slut and has slept with Brand three times. But its not the thing you tell somebodys grandfather about. I can't stand Brand but Ross should have known better than that. They have been suspended from the BBC despite the prank actually authorised to be broadcast on Radio 2. I don't think they'll axe Ross completely because of his great work and he is a ratings winner (plus he is probably the biggest watcher of Bollywood in the UK) but he needs to publicly apologise and to Sach's family/ Dr. Blofeld 15:58, 29 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I take it tomorrow is your last day then? You did promise you;d tell me the reason why you are leaving via email, it will be extremely quiet without you Dr. Blofeld 15:09, 30 October 2008 (UTC) Without a doubt this is one of the most ludicrous ideas i've ever seen. See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Films#Trailer links to youtube. Apparently now there are serious copyright problems if wikipedia has a link to youtube showing the video of a film, even on a different site!! Dr. Blofeld (talk) 21:54, 30 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes thats it. Perhaps if I provide an external link of Zinta with the Green dress I will be taken to court LOL? Snap the handcuffs on me man!!!. Just kidding but yes it is an unusual claimDr. Blofeld (talk) 23:18, 30 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Do you like Tanushree Dutta? P.S. OMG how stunningDr. Blofeld (talk) 14:49, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Dr. Blofeld (talk) 14:46, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes Indian models and actresses are undoubtedly some of the most beautiful in the world though. The average Indian women though is probably not as physically beautiful but its the same with everywhere. My sister recently came back from Moscow and said how stunning and beautifully dressed the women are as I wanted to know!!. I had always thought Russian women were ugly! Apparently they aren't! In terms of the amount of beautiful average women who aren't models etc I think Filipinos are amongst the cutest. Dr. Blofeld (talk) 18:06, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Preity Zinta edit

I'm sorry, I was called away immediately after I'd saved that page and hadn't had a chance to go back and check it yet. The window was still open. I just got in and saw your note. That site was the only place I could find a copy of the article that wasn't reprinted on a gossip site, so it's what I went with. I think the date you used for the archive date was fine, it seems to be when it was put on that site as well. Sorry again! Wildhartlivie (talk) 21:54, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Jessica Biel edit

Yes actually it is pretty close between Biel and Jolie for hottest Hollywood actress. I love Jessica Biel. Beautiful and very intelligent. Lovely teeth!Dr. Blofeld (talk) 13:28, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well she isn't as glamorous looking but there is actually something about her I like. I had never thought she was anything special in the past, but seeing her speak and how intelligent she is its made me think of her very differently. As I said its not all down to how somebody looks. There are some stunning women who have the personality of a brush and are very stuck up and therefore become less attractive.

Actually shes not exactly lacking in the glam department either Dr. Blofeld (talk) 16:38, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes I did see some of her columns back when we were writing the article. If a women is beautiful and has a great sense of humour thats a killer for me, especially if you know she is smart and strong-willed, but also has a sensitive side. I like women who are chirpy but who have a sensitive side and are passionate, like myself and appreciate the arts. There aren't too many women have these qualities. Shania and Zinta would seem to have all of these. Dr. Blofeld (talk) 17:29, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is Koffee with Karan in english? I took for granted more Indians spoke English but many of the shows seem to be partly in Hindi and partly in English like Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Do you speak English in your family in Australia or Hindi? Dr. Blofeld (talk) 18:33, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

LOL. I don't understand you! Your're on holiday and you didn't even say!! Dr. Blofeld (talk) 19:20, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I just find it very odd that you "can't" tell me what would seem just normal things every day life things. I don't know how it can possibly be so difficult to say Hey "Blofeld I'm on holiday in Malaysia" or something. I don't get why you feel you have to keep what would seem normal banter a secret. Why is it so important to you that you can't let somebody 12,000 miles away know how you are even by email so I'm the only one who knows! Its not as if you are a secret agent and I'm tracking you down or something! If you don't want me to know much about things fine, but I am very curious why there is so much secrecy about what would seem easy going topics. Dr. Blofeld (talk) 19:52, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you being on holiday is related to going back to India soon however I understand. Youtube isn't working right now so I can't see that clipDr. Blofeld (talk) 20:00, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not offended mate, its your business. Just a little intrigued why you aren't more open about it given that you live or lived 12,000 miles away!! If you feel embarrassed speaking about it or don't want to talk about it I'll respect that. Dr. Blofeld (talk) 20:32, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well where are you then? Dr. Blofeld (talk) 20:37, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

"I travel in different places" sounds like an itinerant or something. I'll have to start calling you the "Phantom Hitchhiker" or "Wandering Will" I think. Are you actually a Hill Billy nomad wandering the plains of Mongolia but somehow have a laptop and internet connection LOL? You've just contracticted yourself LOL that "I dont hide things" yet when I ask to avoid any misunderstanding that you had told me, it seems you can't even reveal it. Now off you go Bill. Dr. Blofeld (talk) 20:54, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Interesting you mentioned marriage. Remember the Watling twins I was telling you about? Sadie got married the other day, and yes to that guy who isn't good enough for her. Shes been with him a few years now, proved me wrong, but I still don't know what she sees in him. Dunno, some people I know have a wife and kids but I also know some who have been divorced already and seriously struggling to support their kid and sponging off state benefits to get by. 25 is too young to marry I think although I don't want to have one of those kids who has like a 70 year old dad LOL and the kids take the mick out of for being a granddad! 30 I think is a good age Dr. Blofeld (talk) 21:28, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

37?? I'm young. 25 , four years older than you? Born May 4th 1983! Dr. Blofeld (talk) 21:37, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Its BO status? LOL. That stands for body odor where I come from. Perhaps he needed a good bath. Dr. Blofeld (talk) 22:05, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Doesn't look like vandalism to me. He seems to want to reword. Lay off with reverting him for the mo, you don't want to be blocked because of the 3RR rule either. Kindly inform him that the article was fine as it wasDr. Blofeld (talk) 11:44, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Shahid just leave it for the mo, I don't want you to be blocked because of edit warring Dr. Blofeld (talk) 11:47, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

One more revert Shahid and you'll be blocked too for edit warring. I thought i asked you to leave it and discuss it in the talk page. Dr. Blofeld (talk) 11:48, 3 November 2008 (UTC) I know you don't Shahid. But from a neutral viewpoint his edits are not blatant vandalism, rather a misguided attempt to improve it Dr. Blofeld (talk) 12:01, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Trust me. I'll be watching to see if he does anything which can be construed as vandalism. Many people aren't aware of some of the guidelines. I have kindly informed him. If he continues and you also keep reverting him then it will inevitably result in a block because of edit warring even if you are clearly reverting him in good faith and are correct to do so. Its not worth having admin intervention and a block. Let it pass, and if he restores his version. Leave it until later. Dr. Blofeld (talk) 12:11, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

As I said I'll be keeping an eye on him. Best Dr. Blofeld (talk) 12:16, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've let Jody know. His last edit was clearly aggressive Dr. Blofeld (talk) 12:24, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Shahid there seems to be some debate on Kareena Kapoor about her birth date. Most sites indicate 1980. Yet somebody else suggests 1977. Could you find a reliable source to confirm it. Cheers Dr. Blofeld (talk) 13:38, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I also reverted some tosh in the Dixit article somebody added about her being slapped. What is it with these articles that seem to attracted such edits! Dr. Blofeld (talk) 14:08, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey Shahid. I always listen to Absolute Radio. They regularly plug wikipedia and say how great it is. I just cleaned up one of the presenters articles earlier. This morning he described wikipedia as "a fountain of knowledge" but said one of the other DJs vandalised his article in the past for saying he was married to a GMTV presenter. Check out contribs. This is clearly him. Not only are most of the edits related but it is registed to Virgin Radio (the former name of the radio). It is without a doubt him. ANyway I've asked for some images of the radio presenters. Many of them share my sense of humour which is why I probably like the station and its music so much. What do you think? Obviously him? Count Blofeld 16:22, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

90% certain it is him judging by the edits. Even if it isn't I am 120% certain it is somebody from virgin Radio because it came from a computer IP registered to 1 Golden Square virgin radio. Count Blofeld 16:58, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
