Thanks edit

Hello, Salturki! We just wanted to thank you, again, for attending the Wikipedia training workshop today. We do hope you found the experience worthwhile and will continue to contribute to Wikipedia.

The training pages can be found here, should you wish to review them.

You may benefit from following some of the links below, which will help you get the most out of Wikipedia. If you have any questions you can ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking   or by typing four tildes "~~~~"; this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you are already loving Wikipedia you might want to consider being "adopted" by a more experienced editor or joining a WikiProject to collaborate with others in creating and improving articles of your interest. Click here for a directory of all the WikiProjects. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field when making edits to pages. Happy editing! Translation to Arabic edit

Hi Salturki. Regarding you query about translating articles for the Arabic Wikipedia: most of that type of organization appears to occur in the Project the article is being translated to. I think this page might provide you the information you require, but obviously - not being able to speak Arabic myself - I can't say for sure. Alternatively, you could contact some of the editors listed at Wikipedia:Translators available#Arabic-to-English. These editors translated from Arabic to English, but will probably be able to assist you with the basics of going in the other direction. In particular, FayssalF (talk · contribs) is a very experienced Wikipedian and should be able to tell you anything you need to know.

I hope that helps. Rockpocket 22:30, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of الجينوم edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on الجينوم, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that was copied and pasted from another Wikimedia project, or was transwikied out to another project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Travelbird (talk) 10:21, 18 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
