June 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Native Son (band) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • of many well known artist and bands, working with many heavy hitters both in the U.S. and abroad (please see their individual wiki reference links below to see the many artist and icons they have
 • wiki reference links below to see the many artist and icons they have worked with, past and present}, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, George Duke, [[Ray Charles]

Bobby Watson edit

Hello Poekneegurl, I saw your message for Josve05a. That's a rather strange place to leave a message; Josve05a's talk page is at User talk:Josve05a. Anyway, the draft on Bobby Watson the bassist still exists, but it does not cite any relible sources and does not establish that Watson is notable enough to be the subject of an encyclopedia article of his own. If his association with Rufus is his sole claim to notability, covering him within the band article seems more appropriate. Right now practically all the draft's content is unverifiable. If you know of reliable sources such as newspapers or music magazines that cover Watson in some detail, not just as a member of Rufus, you're welcome to improve the draft, of course. Disambiguation link notification for October 22 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hal Jackson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page KGFJ. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:42, 22 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Draft:Native SON (American Band) concern edit

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Native SON (American Band), a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:14, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Sheila Frazier Atchison.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sheila Frazier Atchison.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

 • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
 • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add OTRS pending to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as non-free fair use or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 02:50, 7 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Native SON (American Band) edit

Hello Poekneegurl. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Native SON".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the db-afc or db-g13 code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: , paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 13:25, 14 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

The file File:Rufus with Chaka Khan circa late 1970's.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Questionable public domain status; no author properly attributed; lacks evidence of permission

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 6 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
