AfD nomination of Jacq LaMarche edit

An article that you have been involved in editing, Jacq LaMarche, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jacq LaMarche. Thank you. --BJBot (talk) 20:00, 28 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE:Jacq LaMarche edit

Hello Mdb1370. I didn't nominated the article Jacq LaMarche for deletion. It was nominated by User:Clarityfiend. If you have any problem, you can argue with him. And, I strikeout the term "total crap" from AfD[1]. Regards, Masterpiece2000 (talk) 02:55, 31 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of From Petoskey to Prague edit

An editor has nominated From Petoskey to Prague, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/From Petoskey to Prague and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 17:59, 4 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

All Because of Agatha edit

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article All Because of Agatha, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Olympics edit

I removed it because I think it was going into too much detail about stuff that doesn't really impact the games. The fact that it was named "best sports city" will have little to no impact on their bid, so I don't think it is worth mentioning. Generally, the sections should be kept brief and only have essential info. -- Scorpion0422 21:25, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Players and pennants edit

As another user stated, players don't win pennants. Please see discussion on project page. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 10:23, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't buy it, but the consensus on the project page seems to support your take on it; in fact, I was going to revert Badger "pending project discussion", but you kind of beat me to it. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 02:59, 9 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

please avoid an edit war edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hank Aaron. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Kingturtle (talk) 11:58, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Specifically, you should use the talk page for WP:Baseball, since there is a discussion thread started there, and this covers a number of articles. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 12:40, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pennants edit

I want to start out by saying that I am not following your edits, these players are on my watchlist, and I check it daily and I saw that you are adding these. The reason I dont believe that they should have the pennants is that no one remembers the losers in World Series games. Also if the pennants are so important why arent there templates about the pennant winners, as there is for the World Series winners. Please don't add any more (and I wont remove them) until this issue is solved, Lets continue this discussion at WP:Baseball--Yankees10 22:36, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Leo Arnaud edit

Thank you very much for your edit to Leo Arnaud. I don't get a lot of edits there. If it is at all possible, please add a link to the statement you made there as a WP:REFERENCE. Thanks! Reywas92Talk 21:12, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Mdb1370! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 942 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Jonathan Troy (playwright) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. James Bondy - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 00:36, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Jonathan Troy (playwright) edit

The article Jonathan Troy (playwright) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Apparently non-notable playwright, I'm not seeing any sources in google that support notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Nuujinn (talk) 23:39, 23 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of North Towne Square edit

The article North Towne Square has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article does not meet WP:GNG or WP:NBUILD: "Buildings, including private residences and commercial developments, may be notable as a result of their historic, social, economic, or architectural importance, but they require significant coverage by reliable, third-party sources to establish notability." The subject does not have coverage that meets significant coverage by reliable, third-party sources to establish notability. WP:BEFORE revealed advertising, WP:ROUTINE coverage of events and directory style listings.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   // Timothy :: talk  07:04, 30 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
