Speedy deletion of Mikel San Jose Dominguez edit

A tag has been placed on Mikel San Jose Dominguez requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Worcester Warriors Logo.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Worcester Warriors Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:33, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Copyvios edit

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Miles Benjamin. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Could you help MSR? edit

I'm not particularly technology friendly, however articles regarding English rugby union rarely get much attention so I help out where I can. I noticed a template recording England tours http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:England_Tours The last series recorded is the 2004 tour to Australasia. I created an article for the next tour (Australia - 2006) only to find I could not create the article as it takes you to the page '2006 mid-year rugby test series'

Do you know how to rectify this?

Quick enquiry re:rugby edit

Note you are a liverpool fan, do you live in Merseyside...if so do you ever look in on little waterloo? Have you seen this : http://www.mywaterloorugby.com/

Irish rugby flag edit

Unfortunately, we cannot use that flag for any purpose other than its own illustration. Since it uses the copyrighted IRFU logo as one of its elements, it counts as a derivative work and falls under the same copyright restrictions. Therefore, its use for decorative purposes would not qualify it for use under the Fair Use criteria. – PeeJay 20:39, 31 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wolves numbers edit

Because all those numbers are wrong. The squad numbers will be added next week so not long to wait. The numbers have all altered since last year as the club remoulds the squad for the new level Wolvesweb (talk) 20:10, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rugby Roma edit

Hi Mike, I noticed you moved "Rugby Roma Olimpic" to "Futura Park Rugby Roma". That's not correct, "Futura Park" is the main sponsor and "Rugby Roma Olimpic" is the team's name (the same difference as "Harlequin Football Club" and "NEC Harlequins" so to say). Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello MSR-Liverpool! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 937 article backlog. Edits to All Blacks edit

Please do not revert to the persistently incorrect linkage of current All Black players to their Super 14 squads,. NZ rugby players are attached to their provinces, not to their Super 14 franchises, and when the All Black squad is announced each player's provincial provenance is announced. Super 14 allegiances are more fluid, to say the least.

One certainly might consider linking players to their clubs, but this would be a far less relevant connection in the NZ context, and the information is less readily available.

National flags are redundant: All Blacks play for NZ. Players who play for foreign teams do not play for NZ.

Happy to discuss this further on the All Blacks discussion page.125.237.189.14 (talk) 23:29, 6 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Rugby questions edit

Hi, I mainly find info on StatsGuru Rugby, but I also use RugbyData. Just type those names on Google, they'll show up. They are really interesting websites. If you need anything else don't mind asking. Cheers! Tibullus (talk) 13:55, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Canada national team edit

Hi, I always use scrum.com for information concerning player caps as I find it to be the most accurate overall. While I too have tried to use the Canada Rugby website to acquire information I have always found that much information is missing and the stats provided are unorganized and unclear as to whether matches were full tests or not. I hope this helps! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Run34 (talkcontribs) 22:12, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Rugby Romania edit

Hi, please do not revert to the old ,,Current squad" grid. The colours were appalling, the information was outdated and I really thought it's ok to have a fourth column - the one mentioning each player's club competition (because some of the players play in lower French leagues and I did want to be very clear where they play). I can assure I am trying to do a good job in maintaining a good Romanian Rugby page. Thanks, Fastardul (talk) 09:14, 11 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ravai Fatiaki edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ravai Fatiaki requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Rabbitfang 06:32, 16 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Shaun Ruwers edit

The article Shaun Ruwers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I am not seeing any indication that this player meets either WP:NSPORT or WP:GNG; no significant coverage outside of stats and hiring announcements as would be expected of a popular sport.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
