• That's where the problem lies. He needs to cover WP:GNG, which means his article has to be covered with good references and good reliable sources. You can create an username draft and ask an admin if it is reliable enough; if it's not, then you can leave the page as your draft until the day the specified player make his pro debut (see my sandbox for some examples). For example, you have Joaquín Caparrós and Lucas Alcaraz, only played amateur football but at least they did so as a senior. I believe that Díaz, only having played as a youth (and we don't know for how long), does not merit the footballer categories, as much as we can't create an article on a youth footballer due to WP:NOTABILITY.
