That's So Raven edit

Please do not remove content from articles and then replace it afterwards; this makes it seem you are taking credits for other members' contributions to the article. --LBM | TALK TO ME

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Raven-Symoné. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Even Stevens screenshots edit

Hello, you were interested in having more Even Stevens screenshots put on List of Even Stevens episodes. Sometimes people will try and delete images if they don't have a lot of text next with them. If you would help increase the size of the summaries I would put screenshots with them. I've put on 7 so far, but now I'm trying to fix the summaries myself. - Peregrinefisher 01:26, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

TSR Screenshots edit

I'm adding some of the screenshots you mentioned, but I don't know what caption to put with the images. Could you tell me what is taking place in the images you mentioned? I added this to "If I Only Had a Job" but I don't know how it fits with the summary "Raven has a vision that her father Victor, will be fired from his job. Meanwhile, Raven tries out for the part in Dorothy in the school play. " Let's talk about the best way to do this on my talk page here. Thanks. - Peregrinefisher 00:08, 27 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I haven't watched the show so what I would love for you to do is go to my talk page and explain the four screenshots on each ultimatedisney.com page and mention which episode they go with like this.
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/thatssoraven-makeover.html
1. Raven dressed as a mummy because whatever. Pin Pals
2. Eddie and whoever in the kitchen. Dues and Don'ts
3. Raven and some lady. Adventures in Boss Sitting
4. Chelsea talking into a shoe. Hook Up My Space
Ideally you would do it for these pages:
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/thatssoraven-makeover.html
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/thatssoraven-houseparty.html
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/thatssoraven-supernaturally.html

If you can help me with this I can add 16 images! - Peregrinefisher 00:42, 27 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Regarding edits made to Reflections - A Retrospective edit

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, LAUGH90! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule proboards\d{1,3}\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. High School Musical 2 edit

Response from ArglebargleIV edit

Hmm, I looked it up in the other articles and saw the other numbers. If you've looking it up at the RIAA site (and others), that's fine with me -- but it should be consistent across all the articles. BTW, I didn't "put" the numbers in there -- I reverted what appeared to be a mistake on your part. Since it appears to be my mistake -- I'm sorry about that. -- ArglebargleIV 21:47, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

However, I moved the 2000 and 2001 albums that were in the 1990s section back to the 2000s. And corrected a spelling mistake -- I think those were undone when you reverted. -- ArglebargleIV 21:51, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cheetah girls edit

Wow, we were lucky. The Cheetah Girls (group) had a free image I was able to chop up into an image for each of the girls. They're not great images, but at least they're something. Check them out: Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, Sabrina Bryan. It's going to be really hard to find one for Raven-Symoné. If you want I can teach you what to look for on Flickr in the hopes of finding one there, but you'd probably have to check flickr for months or longer before finding one. Probably best to just cross your fingers and hope someone uploads a free image of RS. - Peregrine Fisher 03:56, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop re-adding these movies. Laughingplace is not an official source. Nor can we add anything for 2008 yet. 2007 isn't even half way through yet. Adding 2008 is basically crystleballism since there's no guarantee that these movie will even see the light of day especially since there hasn't been any official sources from Disney Channel. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 01:12, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Laughingplace is not an official source. Just because some of the things they say come true doesn't mean everything will be. Fan sites are not reliable sources. Official sources (Disney commercials, news articles, ect) for both HSM2 and Johnny Kapahala can be found unlike these. IMDB is not a reliable source as it can be edited by users as well. Though articles on IMDB are generally true it is not 100% true. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 01:19, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Laughingplace is not endorsed by Disney, nor does it get any real information from Disney. You must know the difference between an official site and a site that is merely gossip and rumors. I was close to allowing you to add Twitches Too as I have allowed IMDB as a reliable source in the past, but I then began to doubt the veriability of IMDB as source by itself without acknowledgement from the movie studios. Request for edit summary edit

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Most Wanted (Hilary Duff album) edit

I've reverted your edit on Most Wanted (Hilary Duff album) because you did not provide a reliable source, much less any source, to support it. You've been asked to cite sources for your contributions several times, and you're still not doing it. Verifiability is official policy on Wikipedia, and if you continue to ignore this you may become the subject of a request for comments, which could lead to punitive action against you. Editors adding or restoring material should cite a reliable source, or it may be challenged or removed by any editor. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 17:35, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tracie Spencer edit

I took back out the date of birth you added for Tracie Spencer; you may not have been aware, but she has been putting 1978 (as opposed to 1976) in the wikticle, and it is not verifiable ~ in fact, as i (and others) have shown on the talk page, 1976 is verifiable. It had been, unofficially, agreed and left alone with no birthdate at all. Hope you don't mind, thanks. Cheers, Lindsay 18:06, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey there, I reverted change to her album sales. The article was just semi-protected yesterday because too many IPs inflate record sales without a source. Unless a reliable source can be provided, those figures should stay. Cheers. Spellcast 01:56, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mariah Carey discography sales figures edit

Greetings. I noticed that you had dropped a note on the Mariah Carey discography talk page a while back, so I though you might be able to help. There have recently been a large number of edits to the sales figures on this pages my multiple users and IP's (some suspected sock puppets), and the sales figures have jumped all over the place. It's difficult to know what numbers are good. Do you know of a reliable source from which we could obtain accurate sales figures? Thank you. -- Tcncv (talk) 04:52, 3 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

February 2009 edit

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Charmbracelet. Most British people and many people internationally write dates in day-month-year order, e.g., 12 December 1904. Most Americans use month-day-year order, e.g., December 12, 1904. If the article is about an American topic, use month-day-year. If it is a British or European topic, use day-month-year. If neither, leave it as originally written. Many Americans or British people take offence if an article about their country, written in their local version of English, is changed around to a version they don't use. So please do not do that.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Thank you. SEE WP:UNLINKDATES -- Don't link dates MrShamrock (talk) 11:20, 7 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Spectacular! (soundtrack) edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Spectacular! (soundtrack), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

article fails to establish the notability of this album

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Speedy deletion nomination of Carlos Pena Jr. edit

A tag has been placed on Carlos Pena Jr. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 22:33, 21 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You were given a very easy unblock basis to meet. It was that you "agree to stop changing the sales of "Confession on a Dance Floor" in any article until you get consensus to do so." Stating that you understand your reason for being blocked is non-compliant with this reasonable condition of the blocking admin.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 04:32, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Concerned admins, just note that the user has returned to this page after his attempt at vehemently promoting a sock, failed. Check User:ARMOR89 (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) for more details. And I personally believe its a lost case to expect any form of chivalrous editing from this one, the talk page is full and littered with warnings and probing to discuss changes, which he/she has completely failed to do so. I don't think any reasonable request will be acceptable in this case, and this one is better indefd. — Legolas (talk2me) 15:23, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • I did nothing wrong. I even have fellow users on wiki that agree with me. I will admit the socking is wrong, but the original reason of why I was blocked in unneccessary. • Your failure to recognize what you did wrong is why you remain blocked. You were edit-warring, and refused to stop. Hell, I think you are probably right about the sales figure, but that hasn't got anything to do with why you were blocked. You were blocked for edit-warring and for logging out to continue your edit war anonymously.—Kww(talk) 16:23, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) Here's the way it works on Wikipedia: First, you make an edit. If other users disagree with your desired edit, then you discuss the disagreement, and come to a consensus together. After you've developed an agreement, then you make the edit that you all agreed on together. You want to skip the 'discussion' and 'reach a consensus' steps, which is disruptive. I have no idea how many copies of that particular album Madonna has sold, and I can see that the discussion is still happening on the talk page, though a consensus seems to be forming now that other editors are free to focus on the question without having to deal with the distraction of your edits. None of that has any relation to your block, which is for refusing to discuss your desired changes or wait for consensus, but trying to simply force your own desired version into the encyclopedia. With the bad behavior, it's possible you won't find an admin to unblock you no matter what you say. But you definitely won't be unblocked until you show that you understand, and are willing to follow, Wikipedia's process of discussing and reaching consensus before making changes in cases of disagreement. If you can't work together with others at all, then you should be writing on your own web site, not on a web site that depends on working together. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:29, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Having understand why I was blocked by FisherQueen, I promise that I will go to the discussion part first and wait till we all reach a consensus instead of the edits. I will also promise not to use sock accounts anymore, log on only to LAUGH90, and to use reputable sources with edits.

Accept reason:

You've been unblocked. Currently, there is no consensus about the figure you have been trying to change. I strongly advise that you not take it upon yourself to change it. If you change it and I decide there is any reasonable doubt about where consensus lies, you will find yourself blocked again. I can see from your talk page that you have a long history of edits that others consider to be vandalism. Be advised that you are being watched carefully, and any admin that blocks you in the future is quite likely to make it a long block.

Kww(talk) 22:26, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'm suggesting you let the block go, provided Laugh90 does not make these changes him/herself. I'm going to keep discussing the sources with Legolas and take this particular issue to WP:NPOVN if necessary. Laugh90, you should know that repeat violations of edit warring will lead to successively longer blocks. August 2012 edit

Hello, I'm Dan56. Your recent edit to the page Touch (Amerie album) appears to have added incorrect information, so I removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Dan56 (talk) 18:58, 11 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Touch (Amerie album). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 18:58, 11 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Figures that don't match sources edit

You've been editing for six years, and you certainly know better than this. If you have a new figure, supply a new source. If you can't be bothered to change the source, don't change the figure.—Kww(talk) 05:01, 28 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

You know better than this kind of crap as well.—Kww(talk) 15:43, 9 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Nickipedia edit

Nickipedia is no different than Wikipedia - anyone can edit it and it's unreviewed. As such it's not a reliable source and can't be cited to support anything here. Thanks! JohnInDC (talk) 13:13, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Blocked again edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for edit warring of junk sources again. You've been blocked multiple times for edit-warring in figures from unreliable sources, and now, once again, I find you edit warring in a figure that is from one blog reposting pirated material from another blog. If this user provides any credible reason to show that he understands our policies on reliable sources and edit-warring, any admin can unblock him.. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text , but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

The reason is because I was just trying to give accurate information and from what I was told, the source I gave was informative and accurate. If it isn't, I now understand and won't do it again.

Decline reason:

I share Kww's concerns below, and your request and comment below doesn't really convince me in any way. Do you know how to separate a reliable from an unreliable source? You've been here long enough, and considering that you've been blocked in the past for a similar violation of policy you really should know by now. Bjelleklang - talk 15:12, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  1. After you inserted it, it was reverted, and you simply reinserted it without discussion. Why did you ignore another editor telling you the source was unreliable?
  2. Under what circumstances would one blog quoting another blog be considered reliable per the standards at WP:RS? What were you "told" that made you believe it was?—Kww(talk) 00:37, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Because from what I researched was that is was informative and wasn't a blogspot. Plus many of sources backed the claim. I don't understand.LAUGH90 (talk) 00:55, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
That actually frightens me a little. You've been editing for nearly seven years. You've been blocked for using bad sources before, and you've been blocked for edit warring before. Can you look at your source and explain to me how it compares against the criteria listed at WP:RS? Can you tell me what WP:BRD says about restoring material after another editor has reverted you?—Kww(talk) 01:10, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
The question still stands, even though your unblock request has been declined by another admin. I'm still watching, and am willing to discuss unblocking you. I just need to be able to believe that it won't lead to the same problems we've had before.—Kww(talk) 18:57, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • I now know my faults and now agree to follow the rules. It was just unclear to me with the Kelly Rowland article issue. I just thought I used a reputable source.LAUGH90 (talk) 01:02, 11 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • I have learned my lesson, and I'm hoping i'm unblocked to edit again. Please just give me a chance.LAUGH90 (talk) 02:20, 29 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
