Creation of new pages

Hi Joewiki,

I'm a newpage patroller. This is with regards to a number of new pages you have created quite recently. I understand that you have created them in good faith. But unless you have substantial information to incluse, it is better to avoid creating pages with a few words. If you have such little trivia on their date of birth and other information about the players you could instead create a table and tabulate them on the main page, London Irish. As of now , the pages you've created are marked for deletion. Sorry abt tht.

If this is about the Reading Fans article there have been persistant deletions which together probably do constitute vandalism. I accept the latest one was probably just an error and I will be more careful next time. JoeWiki 08:43, 01 November 2006 (UTC)

Your comments on the Stephen Hunt edit page are pathetic. You don't own the page and you have no justification for removing my edits. Just because Reading Fans like you want to believe Hunt didn't deliberately knee Petr Cech's head in it doesn't make it true. 'Incident' is a better usage. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Čech breaks Hulse's ankle in horrific injury[1]

It was an accident but Petr Čech broke it. Čech raced out to smother his effort and in the collision the Blades top-scorer suffered an horrific injury when his ankle appeared to snap beneath him [2]. (JoeWiki 22:30, 17 March 2007 (UTC))

I did delete it with a reason, the reason being that, imo, it is non-notable. Wikipedia is not a news service. SteveO 22:46, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Well if you cannot distinguish between someone clattering into a goalkeeper with his knee, leaving him with a fractured skull, and someone falling awkwardly over a trailing leg,[3] then that's up to you. I disagree that it is notable in Cech's career. The incident has received minimal coverage in the media (Match of the Day devoted more time to Paul Robinson's goal), not even Neil Warnock accused Cech of wrongdoing. If it was deliberate, or Cech's responsibility was very ambiguous (as Hunt's was), or it received extensive coverage in the media, or Cech received a red card, then it would be notable. But that's not the case. I would also urge you to be cautious when accusing others of vandalism. SteveO 12:28, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
