Robin Williams edit

The article already states he is a comedian. Also writing "stand-up comedian" is redundant and frankly doesn't make any sense. I see you made that edit earlier and it was reverted. Hopefully you understand why. Let me know if you have any questions MusikAnimal talk 03:34, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for letting me know, I though "Stand-up comedian" counts as well for his career. But I won't revert it back again after you told me just now, I just thought it counts as both stand-up and that too. But I do understand now. HomerSimpson543 (talk) 03:35, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Actually, @MusikAnimal:, you're not quite right. There are all different kinds of comedians: among others, there are film comedians, vaudeville comedians, stage comedians, and television comedians. A "stand-up comedian" is a comedian who stands up in front of a microphone stand and does jokes, stories or routines in front of a night-club or theatre audience. Not all comedians do all these things, so specifying that Robin Williams did stand-up is not necessarily unhelpful. BMK (talk) 04:29, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, the context may not be obvious to others reading this. My comment was in relation to this edit putting Williams was an American stand-up comedian, actor and comedian in the lead. Williams also did comedy though film and television, so the original Williams was an American actor and comedian is more than sufficient MusikAnimal talk 05:45, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
As yes, I see what you mean -- you are correct that adding "stand-up comedian" to "comedian" in that context is totally unnecessary. Sorry tp have misunderstood. BMK (talk) 07:19, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

What shall we talk about first? edit

Shall we talk about your reverting my edits, restoring unnecessary capital letters to words which are neither beginning a sentence nor proper nouns, or shall we talk about the fact that you popped out of nowhere just a few days ago with full knowledge of Wikipedia, leading to the probability that you had a previous account, and that that account is either a blocked or banned editor, so that your edits are, in all probability, block evasion? Or perhaps it's not sufficient for us two to discuss these things, and we should open it up to the community on, say, WP:AN/I or WP:SPI? True, I don't have quite enough information yet to file an SPI, but the more you edit, the more information I will get about who you were in your previous Wikilife. (This is your cue to say that you never had an account before, and that you've been editing for years as an IP, which is where you learned all about Wikipedia.) BMK (talk) 04:23, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

First off BMK, let me stop you there for a second. First off, I don't know what you talking about, and, you shouldn't keep sticking your nose were it doesn't belong in other user's businesses when they edit, just like what you did too me. 2) You can't just keep on going around and reverting other user's edits because you disagree with them and there edits. 3) It's not up to you to decide who's edit stay's, it's up to the admins to decide, because you don't own any articles at all on the wiki. 4) I also did some research on you on the internet, and I learned this is not your first time you gave someone trouble. Other users complained about you and your personality against them, there was one time you called an IP user an "idiot" and other stuff, you even get into edit wars against users too. And that IP user owned you is what I heard. 5) All these things you've been doing is not ok to us and Wikipedia too, and you should learn that by now. I'm here to help support Wikipedia and make it better with better edits and information. Thank you and have a nice day! HomerSimpson543 (talk) 04:35, 8 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Bovine excrement. BMK (talk) 04:37, 8 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
I thought so. HomerSimpson543 (talk) 04:44, 8 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please don't blank userpages. edit

I see you blanked Bishonen's talk page. Please don't do that. MusikAnimal suggested you take it to ANI, which is an option. Beware of it coming back to bite you though. Otherwise, just leave it be, if you are not the individual suggested, then this will all blow over. WormTT(talk) 13:30, 8 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
