Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

November 2013 edit

As you have continued reverting after being warned that you broke the 1-revert restriction, I have reported you to the Administrators' noticeboard for edit-warring. ~~ Lothar von Richthofen (talk) 03:25, 17 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Daki122, if you respond at WP:AN3#User:Daki122 reported by User:Lothar von Richthofen (Result: ) and promise to wait for consensus there may still be time to avoid a block. EdJohnston (talk) 05:53, 17 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Articles of interest to you are covered by Syrian civil war/General sanctions edit

As a result of a community discussion, long-term and persistent problems in the editing of articles related to the Syrian civil war, broadly construed, have been acknowledged. The community has therefore enacted broad editing restrictions, described at WP:SCWGS and below.

  • Any uninvolved administrator may, at his or her own discretion, impose sanctions on any editor working in the area of conflict if, despite being warned, that editor repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process.
  • The sanctions imposed may include blocks of up to one year in length, bans from editing any page or set of pages within the area of conflict, bans on any editing related to the topic or its closely related topics, restrictions on reverts or other specified behaviors; or any other measures which the imposing administrator believes are reasonably necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of the project.
  • Prior to any sanctions being imposed, the editor shall be given a warning with a link to this decision and, where appropriate, should be counseled on specific steps that he or she can take to improve his or her editing in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Sanctions imposed may be appealed to the imposing administrator or at the appropriate administrators' noticeboard.

These editing restrictions may be applied to any editor for cause, provided the editor has been previously informed of the decision. This message is to so inform you. This message does not necessarily mean that your current editing has been deemed a problem; this is a template message crafted to make it easier to notify any user who has edited the topic of the existence of these sanctions.

Generally, the next step, if an administrator feels your conduct on pages in this topic area is disruptive, would be a warning, to be followed by the imposition of sanctions (although in cases of serious disruption, the warning may be omitted). Hopefully no such action will be necessary.

This notice is effective only if given by an uninvolved administrator and logged at WP:SCWGS. EdJohnston (talk) 16:14, 17 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Daki you probably do not carefully read this source Al Jazeera. Your source indicate that Al Jazeera cannot independently verify this activist video. Hanibal911 (talk) 12:20, 1 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yea but you can clearly see the ISIS fighters next to the town so what is the problem then.Daki122 (talk) 14:45, 1 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Counter-vandalism edit

Hi, as you may have seen, I had reverted several times unsourced edits by Sopher, as he was adding towns to the map without any specific source, only using an August 2013 country map without towns on it (except the 5 or 6 major Syrian cities). The problem is he reverts my edits constantly with poor excuses, even trying to blackmail me by asking me to revert other user edits to revert hes own ones. I've tried dialogue to make him understand he cant do that, but he refuses compromise unless the compromise is accepting his vandalism. Furthermore, some naive users seems to accept that behaviour, but if other user do the same, they revert him, a clear double standard. As we all know, 1RR in enforced on the map, so I can only revert one time every 24-hours. So , due to the long historial of vandalism & POV-pushing by that user, I propose you to coordinate between us to revert all the vandal edits he made (adding towns without specific sources, misinterpretate sources, etc...). Our union could be our force to avoid the destruction of the map by that editor. Cheers and thanks for your time, --HCPUNXKID 15:54, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please revert this unsourced edit by Sopher99. As usual, he is trying to mess up the map with unsourced town adds. Regards,--HCPUNXKID 18:21, 26 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Map edit

The fact that Jiza is being barrel bombed combined with the PBS map putting the area as rebel controlled, confirms its rebel controlled. Please self-revert. Sopher99 (talk) 18:07, 21 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Barrel bombing does not mean it is rebel held the army constantly shells rebel held parts of villages and towns.Daki122 (talk) 20:03, 21 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring edit

Just letting you know, I gave you the benefit of the doubt at WP:ANEW over the report of your 1RR violation at Template:Syrian civil war detailed map, so I did not block you. Please note, if you violate 1RR again, you will be blocked (I see it has happened twice before) for a much longer period. Edit warring on contentious pages isn't tolerated, particularly if you're a repeat offender. ~Amatulić (talk) 21:08, 24 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
