I'm an occasional user, without the time or will to make a great many edits. I don't remember to log in very often; most of my contributions are are small, unimportant things like correcting typos and adding redirects anyway, so there's usually not much point.

I possess a basic level of knowledge and competence in a few academic disciplines, with a strong interest in molecular biology and everything within a degree or two of it (which is a whole lot of things, I guess).

Though English is my native tongue, I am terrible at writing in it (for example, I have no idea how to join the three semi-unrelated info-blurbs that constitute this user page), and I apologize in advance for any awkward sentence constructions, odd word choices, or confusing phrasing in my edits.
