@Daniel Case: NOTCENSORED doesn't seem relevant here, given that the issue here is application of BLP. After reading the information in the article, the allegations were disproven, so having it so prominently in the lead (and spending so many bytes on it in the body, frankly) seems undue. So these are IPs that have been tampering around for months, perhaps approaching half a year of this now. I request a months long duration ban on IP users, the sole source of the article being messed around. High protection isn't needed but atleast some level of protection is, for a long duration of time as this just happens to be one of those articles that need it. While I had some citation errors, I also fixed the majority of issues. That current referencing makes it hard to read the source let alone verify the sources cited. In the process of adding page numbers and checking sources I found numerous content issues as well. I explained on multiple occasions that I was in the middle of correcting the citation errors when I was reverted by Skyerise. Hello Noopur28, the article is protected by an arbitration decision (WP:CT/A-I) and can't really be unprotected. Or rather, if it was technically unprotected so that your students could edit it, their edits would be immediately reverted by others enforcing the still-existing prohibition on their editing.
Encourating students relatively new to Wikipedia (less than 500 edits or less than 30 days account age) to jump into such a contentious topic is almost certainly a bad idea; you'd either need to supervise them in a way that would make them an army of meatpuppets of your own account, or let them edit without such supervision and end up in various heated Wikipedia conflicts due to their lack of experience.
The protection serves a useful purpose and those students who actually possess the needed Wikipedia experience to edit such pages are already able to do so.

I guess depending on how the advice was taken, we may later see a request at WP:PERM/EC from a 5-edit account which can't really be answered in another way than "Sorry, no, this is too early", but that's quickly done. I am making a request on behalf of myself, as I sometimes create new articles pretty often (mostly New Brunswick-related). As of right now I have 66 live articles, and I have expanded plenty more. I have had a few deletions: two articles when I was brand new to editing & one list I created in mid-2023 (due to not completely understanding WP:BLPCRIME at the time). Otherwise, my articles have been pretty straightforward and vary in quality, with most being Start/C-class by the time I publish them. I had a little bit of a rough start when it came to "notability knowledge", as many do, but overtime I have grown to have an understanding of WP:GNG and WP:MOS when writing articles.  Done I've looked through your last 10 articles. You produce clean articles and nobody comes along and does tidy-up work. The obvious area for improvement is with date formats. Often, you use mdy dates in the prose and you consistently use dmy dates for referencing. Not sure why you do that but it's not a good idea. Settle on one date format and then stick to it. And with regards to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2024 Loblaw boycott, I'm unconcerned about that; the worst that will happen is a merge. Good work! Schwede66 08:49, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

 Not done There's always a little bit that others have to clean up when you finish with an article. Nothing major: DEFAULTSORT, dashes, categorisation. But to walk away from such a version is just not good enough. It wasn't just tagged for bare URLs but also as an orphan. And other requests saying that exact same stuff were approved, so not sure what to say but, I'am aware of the importance and privliege of this permission, and would like my request to be considered fairly, as it did not feel like that was the case the first time, based on the response that I got.
