Marching Chiefs edit

I'll see what I can dig up! Do you attend FSU? TrbleClef 18:18, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Did my undergrad there, 10+ years ago. Thanks for the help. I was kind of surprised they didn't have a page up yet.

Deion Sanders edit

Since you appear to be sticking around and making some contributions, I thought I'd try and help make image uploading easier.

To add the picture, what you'll have to do is

  • Save it to your computer (note the folder it's in)
  • Rename the file to something more appropriate (e.g. DeionSanders.jpg)
  • Log in to Wikipedia
  • Visit the 'Upload file' link, in the toolbox on the left side
  • Use the form to find the file on your computer and upload it to Wikipedia

Then, once the image is uploaded, visit it's image description page (which will have the picture on it) and add a description by editing that page just like editing any other page. You'll want to use a copyright tag to make the copyright status of the image clear. On Wikipedia, magazine covers are considered a fair use of copyright protected images. So at the bottom of your description, add {{Magazinecover}} and the copyright template for magazine covers will be inserted. (See Image:World.mag.2004.ncs.jpg for an example.)

Then, go to the Deion Sanders article, and add the image to the article where you'd like to place it by placing [[Image:DeionSanders.jpg|thumb|right]] in the appropriate place in the article. The "thumb" attribute will thumbnail the image since it's large, and the "right" attribute will right-align it in the article. Make sure to preview the article before saving it, to verify that the image appears where you'd like it to.

It may seem like a long procedure but it doesn't take too long to add a picture. Plus, if you're going to be contributing often it'll be useful. For more, see Wikipedia:Picture tutorial. TrbleClef  (talk) 16:17, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Images edit

No problem... I forgot a step, though... adding captions to your thumbnail! I added one to the image in Deion Sanders, so just check that out to see how it's done. TrbleClef  (talk) 16:26, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Great, thank you, I even played with the size, for the heck of it. I appreciate all your help. AriGold 16:32, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Kelly Marie Monaco edit

Hey AriGold!

Very nice picture of Kelly! Thanks for finding and uploading it. :-) Jester2001 30 June 2005 21:08 (UTC)

Comic book/stip movies edit

Hi AriGold, great work on your Wiki contributions thus far! I just saw your comment in the history of the "List of movies based on comic books" page:

"(removed Flash Gordon, didnt realize that comics based on strips were not included. Addded Lone Wolf and Cub.)"

I made a very similar mistake a few weeks ago; I added a myraid of movies to the List of movies based on comic strips that should have been in the List of movies based on comic books list, and had to revert all my additions and put them in the other article. Anyway, I just wanted to make sure you knew that both lists exist :) Cheers, --Naha|(talk) 16:40, July 15, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks, it dawned on me once I did it that there might be two categories!AriGold 16:51, 15 July 2005 (UTC)

Phi Delt edit

Thanks for the compliment. I'm currently re-doing the Famous Phi section for GHQ. Look for the site to be online some time in September with over 900 Famous Phis and hundreds of photos. Dysepsion

Thank you. Haiduc 23:42, 19 July 2005 (UTC)

Burt edit

Your edit to Burt Reynolds seems entirely sensible to me, but an anon has long found such designation unacceptible for reasons I've never been able to follow. Perhaps they'll be able to accept it now that someone other than me has edited it (or they've found something else to worry about). Cheers, -- Infrogmation 15:26, 21 July 2005 (UTC)

Sounds good. It looked like there was an edit war going on between you and someone else, I was hoping that what I did would work. AriGold 15:46, 21 July 2005 (UTC)

Florida State edit

Well, I feel that if you are going to say why all these more than a dozen programs are notable...every university/school has notable programs. If you want to state rankings, thats fine but it seems highly subjective of you to say they are "highly regarded." Also, I don't see why they would be in that top intro section when you have then in the academic section anyway... BTW, im not a "gator fan", I am just editing the Florida University System and I've started with the 2 biggest, UF and FSU...

  • I agree with you but you had hard facts there and that's a difference. The creative writing thing is a great point and so is the golf program, but it seems biased to run off a laundry list of programs that are "notable" and not really explain why. I think they should be taken off, especially since the only source you can find that says that is the actual school website. I mean, every school brags about itself so that really cannot stand...
  • Sounds like a good idea.

Entourage edit

Hi Ari, sounds like a pretty good idea. Feel free to change, I have to agree the list is getting to long with more actual celebrities than they have episodes. Sfufan2005 12:36, August 1, 2005 (UTC)

  • Hey Ari, yes Flamurai's edit makes the article very reduntant and boring. I don't why it has to be from a neutral point of view. It never got deleted on the original Entourage site. Sfufan2005 12:46, August 2, 2005 (UTC)

Regarding Jesse Jane biography edit

Hi AriGold,

While we appreciate your contributions to the Jesse Jane page, the biography in question is a copy-and-paste entry from the Internet Movie Database (see: [1]) and unfortunately cannot be accepted as is. I am in the process of rewriting the article, thus avoiding the copyright infringement issue. Thanks! -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 18:37, 1 August 2005 (UTC)

New picture of Kelly Monaco edit

I'm surprised no one has come down on you like a ton of bricks for finding the new picture!! ;) It's very nice though! Jester2001 19:45, 18 August 2005 (UTC)

Sports illustrated cover edit

Hi there - I notice that you replaced the old picture on Cleavage (breasts) (which is clearly licensed) with a cover page from Sports Illustrated. I'm a little worried about the copyright status of this - are you sure it's a good idea? Trollderella 16:07, 19 August 2005 (UTC)

Yes, if you click on the picture you'll see the copyright description. AriGold 17:01, 19 August 2005 (UTC)

Magazine covers edit

A number of the magazine covers uploaded by you and claimed as "fair use" are of too high a resolution. Wikipedia "fair use" guidelines requires all "fair use" media to be low resolution -- i.e. screen resolution, no larger than is needed to illustrate the basic cover. 500 px horizontal almost too much; 1500 px is far too many. A few examples I have come across are Image:KatieW.jpg, Image:KellyMaxim0905.jpg, Image:Vscovers35.jpg, Image:LOFTcover.jpg, Image:HeidiKlumgq.jpg. Please resize them down and refrain from uploading hi res copyrighted photos in the future or they will be deleted. If you do not understand the legal requirements of the fair use clause, please review our page on fair use. --Fastfission 17:40, 23 August 2005 (UTC)

Archving of talk page edit

Hi AriGold!

I notice that you remove many of the discussions which take place on your talk page. I think that would be better if you decide to archive them instead of deleting them. Just a thought, but I am not sure what the official policy is. Jester2001 02:35, 27 August 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for the thought, I was honestly thinking about doing that but I have no idea how to. AriGold 18:47, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
It's actually quite easy, just create a new page called (for example) User:AriGold/TalkArchive. Copy all the talk you don't want to be in your main talk page to the new page. And create a link to the archive in your main talk page. You don't have to do it because you can always go back to a discussion through the history page, but it helps to keep things organized. Just a tip if you decide to use it.
You don't have to use this method just for archiving discussions. For example, I've create a page called User:Jester2001/Pictures where I link all the pictures I've uploaded to wikipedia. That way I can go back and delete any pictures which are no longer needed.
Thanks for the info about Raquel Gibson, I've added it to my watchlist and will add any relevant information. Jester2001 12:11, 29 August 2005 (UTC)

"If the screenshot is used in an article that specifically discusses/criticises the scene or the film it's acceptable for it to be used in the article about the person. If the screenshot serves a purpose greater than merely identifying the subject then a fair use rationale can be made for its use in articles that relate to it, including articles about the subject. It's the context in which it is used, and the content of the article that it illustrates that must establish relevance. Same type of rationale as Image:As03-martha updat.jpg & Image:OJ Simpson Newsweek TIME.png which are not used in articles about the magazines from which the covers were taken, but in a related topics, in this case photo manipulation and O.J. Simpson. Both the related articles discuss the magazine cover and the issue of photo manipulation, so the image specifically illustrates the text. If it was just being used as a picture to identify OJ, that would not be fair use." Arniep 22:47, 2 November 2005 (UTC)

GQKatie edit

You and I obviously aren't going to agree on whether Image:GQKatie.jpg is fair use or not. I have tagged it for a fair-use review by an independent third party so you and I can stop reverting each other. At the moment, the Katie Holmes article does contain this image and I will not remove it until the fair use status has been examined. Does this sound reasonable to you? --Yamla 22:42, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

Cubi XXVII edit

Sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing in merging Cubi XXVII with David Smith (sculptor). It seems that the sculpture doesn't need its own entry but would fit well under the artist entry, which actually needs more content.--TNL 17:24, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:RGibson.JPG edit

This image may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:RGibson.JPG. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Katie Holmes edit

Greetings! You have edited the Katie Holmes page in the past. I've completely reworked the article and have posted it on WP:PR in the hopes of advancing it to WP:FAC. I would be grateful for your comments at Wikipedia:Peer review/Katie Holmes/archive1. PedanticallySpeaking 18:38, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Katie Holmes edit

I've made some comments about images that you have uploaded, at Wikipedia:Peer review/Katie Holmes/archive1. Would you mind please taking a look at them and updating the image description page with copyright information as per Wikipedia:Image description page. My main concern is that the promo photos are not sourced, and this alone is reason enough for the images to be deleted under Wikipedia's copyright policies. I'm not going to draw further attention to them, however I hope you will act quickly upon this before some bot detects them. They will also need fair use rationales. Please let me know if I can help you with this. cheers Rossrs 01:38, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

Blocked edit

I have blocked you from editing wikipedia due to your breach of the Three revert rule at Typhoid Mary. Your dispute was over content, your edits were not reverting vandalism. You are therefore blocked for one hour. Hiding talk 23:53, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Let that be a lesson to you: Don't engage in revert warring. Since you were reverting to a consensus version, you got off easy with a token one hour block. You read my message on Hiding's talk page; I suggested a 48 hour block for DrBat, but Steve let him off with a 24 hour one. Next time DrBat tries to engage you in dialogue, I suggest you talk to him instead deleting his messages from your talk page. You also need to note that the discussion had changed; at the time he was re-inserting the image, we were going with the assumption that it was indeed a promotional image and if that were the case and if the fair use argument is better with those kinds of images, then the question becomes, is it better to show the character in the context of the cover or alone? However, we never actually got to that dialogue because DrBat decided to not engage in it. Since it turns out to not be a truly promotional image, then most likely we will not be able to use it, although a {{Character-artwork}} fair use argument could be made. howcheng {chat} 16:48, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
  • You reverted the page six times in less than half an hour. Although three admins suggested an image as better use, that does not make a definitive answer, and discussion was still ensuing. Discussion is the way to resolve things here, as outlined in pages such as Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. Regardless of the rightness or wrongness of your position, you violated the three revert rule, something which has to protected in all instances to save the wikipedia from disruption. Note you were told by Howcheng that the issue was not a vandalism issue but rather a content dispute, and yet you still continued to mark your actions as reverting vandalism. Your comments at my talk page do not indicate to me you have considered your behaviour, you seem to be blaming everyone else for the situation and not considering your own role in the revert war. If you read WP:3RR you will note it directs an admin to treat all parties equally. I had no choice but to block you; I used discretion and blocked for time limits based on the previous behaviour of the two participants, taking into account previous blocks. I feel your comments to both myself and Howcheng in the light of the block do not vindicate my decision. I would suggest you take a deep breath and in future consider stepping back from such issues rather than seeking to impose your own view so rigidly. Wikipedia is, and always will be, by it's nature, a work in progress. A few hours displaying a disputed image will not trouble the project over much. I would suggest you have a read of m:Eventualism, and have a rethink of your actions. At the least I think you might consider an apology to Howcheng. You note at User talk:DrBat that you have been told by three admins that your actions are correct. I suggest this shows a flaw in your understanding in how wikipedia works. I for one never authorised such actions, such actions are completely against policy. What you have to bear in mind is that you have to consider your actions as part of a greater whole. What effect did your reversion of Dr Bat's edit have? It escalated and inflamed the situation. I apologise for not discussing the issue with you directly, but consider this: given you used my comments as justification for your actions, where did you seek discussion with me? How am I to discuss such actions when they happen within half an hour? You have the look of a good editor about you, but you need to show more respect in your exchanges with people. Hiding talk 18:46, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:GQKatie.jpg) edit

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:GQKatie.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 21:46, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Katie Holmes edit

I'd like to again thank you for your help with this article. I've nominated it as a FAC and would appreciate your comments at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Katie Holmes. As you added the photos to the article, can I ask you to help me respond to objections that may be raised on those photos? Ave! PedanticallySpeaking 16:08, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Okay, I understand. It's hard to know just where things came from. I myself had to go back and check my notes when I put in footnotes on this article. It's just that when I've submitted a FAC in the past, usually the first thing I get for responses is "oppose" votes because the photos aren't satisfactory to some voters. Rossrs put in a note about the Oprah clip, I do know. Again, thanks for your support on this article. PedanticallySpeaking 16:51, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Your image removals edit

Covers to magazines that are indicitive of a model's profession/body of work can not be used? If that is the case, I'll give you a head start on many more pages you might want to change: Cindy Crawford, Elle Macpherson, Kathy Ireland, Ana Beatriz Barros, Alessandra Ambrosio, Marilyn Monroe, Naomi Campbell, Rachel Hunter, Pamela Anderson, Jaime Pressly, Kelly Monaco, Victoria Silvstedt, Christie Brinkley, Paulina Porizkova, Heidi Klum, Rebecca Romijn, Elsa Benitez, Yamila Diaz, Veronica Varekova, Carolyn Murphy, Cheryl Tiegs, Angie Everhart, Stephanie Seymour, Anna Kournikova, Halle Berry, Anna Nicole Smith. AriGold 17:44, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

As of my understanding of Fair Use, and even according to the text on the {{Magazinecover}} template ("...to illustrate the publication of the issue of the magazine in question..."), Magazine-cover images can only be used to illustrate the magazine themselves, not the people nor facts depicted on them. I understand there are lots of cases of magazine covers missues on Wikipedia. Thanks for you help with the list. It will surely be helpfull. Regards, --Abu Badali 18:06, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
Sounds good. Glad I can help. AriGold 18:50, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
So, would you mind to (re-)remove the Magazine images on Adriana Lima's article? I could sound offensive if I did that myself. But of course, if you agree, I can do that myself. Thanks again, --Abu Badali 20:21, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
If it's the right move, by all means proceed as you see fit. But just out of curiosity, if the consensus comes back in the here that magazine images are ok to illustrate a model's work, will you go back and reinsert everything? AriGold 20:23, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
I understand your point. Maybe it would be wiser to wait for some other opinions before proceding with such a move.
By the way, what is your current opinion on the issue? Do you agree that the wording in the {{Magazinecover}} template forbids such uses of those images? I have also read WP:Fair use and I still believe we can't use magazine cover's in articles other than about the magazine itself. Thanks, and awaiting your feedback, --Abu Badali 20:34, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Atlantic Coast Conference edit

I was just curious why you deleted the entirety of the information regarding the eʁxpansion of the Atlantic Coast Conference. I agree there was a fair bit of NPOV, non-encyclopedic commentary in there, but does the entire section need to be deleted? I think the national conference realignment is a pretty important topic, and at least some sort of mention should be made in the conference pages. Sertrel 22:20, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

Maybe a few sentences would be necessary, but right now there's only this sentence: "In 2003's cycle of conference alignment, the ACC added three more members, all from the Big East: Miami and Virginia Tech joined on July 1, 2004, and Boston College joined on July 1, 2005 as the league's twelfth member." Is there a major article of some sort about all the schools under consideration, which ones recanted, etc., and the subsequent cascading effect on the Big East, C-USA, etc.? Sertrel 22:27, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

See Big East Conference, Conference USA, and Atlantic Sun Conference for some of the effects over the past few years. But I'm beginning to think that a separate article would be the best way to address this, and then just link to that article from each of the major conference pages. Sertrel 22:30, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

ACC edit

I guess I get your point, but:

- I also reedited the text for the Duke-UNC rivalry, which was awful and ungrammatical. Why revert that?

- If there any rhyme or reason to the order in which each rivalry's schools are listed? As in: Why is it "Virginia-Maryland" instead of "Maryland-Virginia" if we're being alphabetical? Why isn't "Clemson-N.C. State" first? Jbenton 21:35, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

I'm still in the process of learning the exact Wiki protocol. I have read the instructive pages for new users; however, it is a lot to digest and commit to memory all at once. :Image:Munson15Topps.JPG edit

Thanks for trying to sort out the copyright issues with this image but as it stands right now by you stating that Topps holds the copyright if wikipedia continuses to host this image it will be violating Topps' copyrights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}. Drop me a comment or question on my talk page if you want me to help you with this. No Guru 17:30, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

FSU Athletics / Championships edit

I'm getting there :-) Your suggestions sound excellent. I may have to go to an old book I have on Seminole sports.

The reason that I created this article/page was that there's so much info it would ruin the clean look of the Florida State University article/page. The more I read, the more I find. Any help would be appreciated Noles1984 22:17, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

The image http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:CoversVS.jpg doesn't appear to have a source URL, nor is it low resolution. This would disqualify it under fair use. Please provide information, changes, or rationale on the Image's talk page. Thanks. Smeggysmeg 17:40, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Suri Cruise, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Yamla 21:50, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy: There is no excuse for personal attacks on other contributors. Do not make them. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that you may be blocked for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thanks. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 22:53, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Suri Cruise edit

Regarding the warning I gave you for Suri Cruise, I do apologise. I must admit, I jumped the gun. In fact, I initially blocked you and then later, unblocked you. I'm not exactly sure why this happened. The fact that you had been blocked before didn't help, nor the fact that the page was deleted as a result, but nevertheless, I overreacted. I am sure you are telling the truth when you say you didn't mean to save the page. Anyway, I really do apologise. --Yamla 23:32, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Kaug.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Image Tagging Image:CoversVS.jpg edit

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:CoversVS.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. TomStar81 22:06, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Allure Adams.jpg) edit

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Allure Adams.jpg.

Thank you. Abu Badali 05:40, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

CWS edit

Thanks for your message re the Co-operative Group edit. I can see the reason for your original edit now. The reference to the College World Series at the top of the Co-operative Group article seemed so incongruous I edited it out. Your disambiguation solution seems ideal and I apologise for using the word irrelevant in my edit.

Nigel45 10:57, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

  • I apologise for yesterday's edits. I didn't realise the 'Co-Operative Group' article had been edited instead. This is one of those unfortunate cases where an American association, which isn't well-known outside of the US, has the same initials as a more well-known group.

Phi Delta Theta Alumni additions edit

Sorry for the long delay for a response. I was away and have not been on the internet for a while. All of the additions by Harvardlaw are actual Phi Delt Alumni, although I can't verify the CEO of Dr. Pepper as a Phi. Harvardlaw is just taking the names from the www.famousphi.com website although I believe it's pointless to list all of them when a link to the site already exists. --† Ðy§ep§ion † Speak your mind 05:10, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

David J. Silver edit

This is in response to the question you left on my talk page. I've reviewed the article, the subject doesn't seem notable to me. I think it should be brought to AfD. Regards, Accurizer 14:10, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

I agree. We've already speedied David Jason Silver on the same subject. I "prodded" the article, but I would be surpised if the tag lasts 5 days. I'd support an AfD. -Will Beback 15:48, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Even if the tag holds and it is deleted after 5 days, prodded articles can be recreated. If you would like to have this permanently deleted (permanently meaning until the subject becomes notable), AfD is definately the way to go. Accurizer 16:21, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Good point. I've converted it to an AfD. -Will Beback 16:47, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

War Chant edit

Hello, thanks very much for your message and for correcting the name of that article. I am not a FSU fan, but I am a fan of college football. Obviously there are some things about the sport that I don't know yet! I'm sorry about the mistake but I'm glad you caught it quickly so we can develop the article under the proper name. Since you are knowledgeable about FSU traditions, perhaps you would consider joining The College Football WikiProject? We are really gearing up as we approach the fall season. BTW, I also created Gator Chomp as a stub yesterday. It was my intention to expand them both and nominate one for the Did you know section of the Main Page. Since you've already done some good expansion of War Chant, perhaps we can improve it and nominate it together? A picture would be a great addition if you happen to have one. We have to nominate it soon, as articles are not eligible for DYK if they are more than 5 days old. Johntex\talk 14:17, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Doak Campbell Stadium edit

The reason I changed the infobox was because it did not follow Wikipedia standards, and was using very shoddy HTML work. Most Wikipedia articles have a similar infobox to what I changed it as, for an example: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Gonk

Logo galleries edit

Wikipedia only permits "some non-free material for critical commentary" - WP:FUC. Listing teams does is not discussion enough to require an illustration, compared to say, a complete article about the team, where the logo may be of historical significance. ed g2stalk 14:58, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
