  11. Rush is my 2nd favorite band. I have accepted that they are musical geniuses, and I will therefore follow them wherever they care to lead. There are no bad Rush albums. Only varying shades of "Good". → Ξxtreme Unction {yakłblah} 21:49, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
  12. The poll may be ridiculous, but whatever some of their critics will tell you, the band is not. Even their best albums are a bit spotty, but when these guys are on, there are few better. PurplePlatypus 09:22, 8 December 2005 (UTC) Okay, someone RfAr me for my "further vote" now.
  13. Rush is my favorite band right now. Quite possibly the most talented instrumentalists on North America. My favorite songs...2112, Xanadu, Hemispheres, Bastille Day, everything from the 1980s....the list is endless. Deckiller 02:44, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

Test for Echo is unexceptional compared to Presto and Roll the Bones. — Phil Welch (t) (c) 00:52, 30 March 2006 (UTC
Neil Pearts talent was muffled by a sell-out to electronic drums. He's the best drummer I ever saw play live BTW but that was the Moving Pictures tour. The Signals tour just left me feeling a bit empty. —-- That Guy, From That Show! (talk) 2006-03-30 01:01Z
Are you kidding? I LOVED Moving Pictures, but Signals was great too. Countdown? Subdivisions? Pure artistry. It went south pretty quick after that though; I liked Grace Under Pressure, but Power Windows was pretty abysmal. (Really, Mystic Rhythm? Vomit.) They didn't catch my fancy again until Roll the Bones, which I thought was great. · Katefan0(scribble)/poll 03:12, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
  33. Rush is awesome. When I first started playing bass I was learning stuff from Iron Maiden and Pink Floyd's "The Wall". Then my brother introduced me to Geddy Lee via Permanent Waves. I was in shock! I agree with That Guy, From that Show regarding Moving Pictures. The production work done by Terry Brown on Moving Pictures is astonishing! The mix is perfect, everything has brilliance and separation, the bass growls, and the drums are clear, snappy, and deep. The sound of Peart's toms, especially that floor-tom at the end of Limelight, is soooo nice! I find it amusing that folks compare them with current bands... I hear Peart-isms all over the place in NEW rock stuff... and he was doing it oh, back in 1976! Dan 19:27, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
  34. Neil Peart's drum playing is amazing. As a percussionist, it blows my mind. Rush is freaking awsome! Griz 17:32, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

  9. I was into some dodgy bands in my teens, and went to see Rush at the Glasgow Apollo in 1977. After about 10 mins of Geddy's screeching and Pearts ridiculous histrionics, I was pining for the support band, who were straight-ahead rock 'n' rollers. 21. I used to be one of those people who said, "I hate Geddy Lee's voice, but I give them credit because their instrumentals are great." But I thought about it long and hard, and if all I want is good instrumentals, and I don't care about singing (or even quality lyrics) I could listen to classical music or something. So I decided just to hate Rush, with no qualifiers, the same way I hate Beethoven or Joe Satriani. :) Kafziel 17:42, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
