The Multimark has not been actively used by CP in decades, shouldn't the icon use this logo? 162.208.168.92 (talk) 23:40, 6 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I support this. There are probably a few pedants out there who don't want to see the new logo on articles associated with heritage lines or stuff like that, but I think the currently used one should be the default way the company is represented. The Multimark could be kept in the template as an alternate for special purposes. Julius177 (talk) 06:07, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Since the merger with CP and KCS the icon should now use this logo? Dead Malls‬ (talk) 14:10, 9 January 2024 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dead Malls (talkcontribs) Reply
Support this idea, I've added it to Template talk:Rail-interchange. 162 etc. (talk) 22:22, 9 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ontario Northland edit

  Resolved

Seeing that there are interchange marks for a number of regional transit companies including GO Transit  , are there any plans in the works for a rail-interchange mark for Ontario Northland buses? Seeing as the Northlander is still in limbo and the only passenger train in service at the moment is the Polar Bear Express, a bus icon for Ontario Northland would probably be the most useful. I'd be in favour of this, other major intercity bus operators could have icons as well. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 20:07, 10 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
I would be for this as well. I have uploaded an image that can be used for it and I will put in a request. Millsy0303 (talk) 02:43, 18 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'd support this as I feel like Ontario Northland motor coach coverage is very poor right now, and realistically the majority of it will be on other pages, where an icon would stand out and be useful as a visual marker. Julius177 (talk) 23:21, 10 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Montreal standardized signage edit

The ARTM has been rolling out a standardized signage for Montreal transit services.

I'd propose updating {{rint|ca|montreal}} or {{…|ca|rail}} to image (as exo is an operator of both exburban rail and busses).

I'd also like to update {{rint|ca|montreal}} or {{…|ca|metro}} or {{…|ca|1}}, {{rint|ca|montreal}} or {{…|ca|metro}} or {{…|ca|2}}, {{rint|ca|montreal}} or {{…|ca|metro}} or {{…|ca|4}} and {{rint|ca|montreal}} or {{…|ca|metro}} or {{…|ca|5}} to point to SVG versions  ,  ,   and  .

Lastly, under {{rint|ca|montreal}} or {{…|ca|rem}}, I'd like to include icons for line   and its branches  ,  ,  , and  . One of Many Tims (talk) 04:51, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Blaixx: This all seems to match up with the newest map[1], can you help with implementing? I'll add that we should probably keep the "exo" text logo under a new entry, maybe {{rint|montreal|exobus}}, with a link to Exo bus services. 162 etc. (talk) 17:26, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm happy to help! I just swapped in the vector versions for   thru  . The others are a bit trickier but I'll get to them. BLAIXX 19:13, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
In an effort to preserve backwards compatibility, here's what I'm doing:
@Blaixx Thanks for your help.
Any way we can get   to point to  ? It resembles the bus icon used for the STM but with a black background.
The two other bus services have similar treatments: RTL in Burgundy   and STL in Dark blue   One of Many Tims (talk) 03:22, 11 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
I've made an edit request to get these into rint. If you want to use them now, you can use Template:Rail icon instead of Template:rint.
{{ric|REM}} {{ric|REM|A}} {{ric|REM|A2}} {{ric|Exo}} {{ric|Exo|bus}} {{ric|Exo|train}} {{ric|Exo|12}} produces:
             . BLAIXX 17:18, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Can we standardize the {{ric|montreal|bus|...}} to 16px like the other Montreal icons? It seems to be the standard width looking at other icons in Canada and elsewhere, and it would make presentation of Montreal services look less janky.

I'd also add {{ric|montreal|bus|terminus}} rendering as   and {{ric|montreal|bus|srb}} rendering as

{{ric|montreal|bus|express}} seems deprecated in the design language. Should I note it as such in the /doc page? One of Many Tims (talk) 19:46, 1 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
