It's a very notable phenomenon, and it has been for decades. Try Googling "midreshet" (the possessive) instead of "midrasha" and you'll find many relevant results. --DLand^TALK 15:57, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. But the previous version was highly POV, pretending that this is a regular normal mainstream Orthodox Jewish thing - which it is not. --Rabbeinu 22:15, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Problem with name of article.

The word מדרשה has more meanings in Hebrew than just this one. The parallel Hebrew wiki article is called he:מדרשה תורנית לנשים, but I have no idea if in this case we should do the same. DGtal 16:53, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

In English it has a connotation that is specific to this meaning. The phrase "Midrasha Toranit L'Nashim" doesn't exist in English as it may in Hebrew.--DLand^TALK 19:44, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi @Arminden, yes, I think these tags still apply. I note that most references are to institution websites. So there's not enough secondary sources. The excessive detail in terms of dates and the use of bullet points is another sticking point. I.am.a.qwerty (talk) 13:10, 16 April 2024 (UTC)

I can see what you mean with most of your arguments, except for the bullet points. What's supposed to be the problem with those? In the lead they're a must, as there are 3 distinct meanings for the term, and in the list section... it's a list :) Arminden (talk) 21:21, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
