1871-75 and 1876 edit

Probably the 1871-76 players pages should be categorized together rather than split in two.

Thirteen 1871-76 Athletics played for the 1876 team only. Five of them have pages now in this PA(NL) category: Doc Bushong, Flip Lafferty, Nealy Phelps, Fred Warner (baseball), George Zettlein. Eight of them have no pages: William Coon, Bill Fouser, Whitey Ritterson, John Curran, Lou Paul, John Bergh, Jim Ward (baseball), John Mullen (baseball).

Three of the six teams that span 1875/76 (Chicago, Hartford, New York) are already represented by one player category and three are represented by two overlapping categories (Boston, Philadelphia, St. Louis). P64 (talk) 18:14, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
