| The WikiProject Baseball/Old-time Base Ball taskforce was founded on January 16, 2007 to record, preserve, and organize the pre-1900 history of baseball. This project follows the guidelines set forth by our parent project, WikiProject Baseball, and aims to create, maintain, improve, and promote as many articles as possible. If you think you can make a positive contribution to the project, please feel free to contribute in any positive manner you wish; you can start by adding your name to the member list below.

| An article falls under our scope if it directly relates to pre-1900 baseball articles to include, but not limited to, players, managers, umpires, ballparks, and founders. Also related are the many categories and lists covering teams, notable minor leagues, and all-time rosters.
