Doing work hands-on is always the most interesting part of any workshop for me but it was also useful to think about the many ways students and educators can participate.--DrJayk (talk) 17:21, 9 October 2014 (UTC)

Workshop Feedback for 10/8/14

• The workshop was fabulous - I look forward to using Wikipedia this semester. The hands-on portion was particularly helpful, but the extra materials (especially the tutorials) are much appreciated. Perhaps future workshops could continue the conversation started today (more focus on milestones, assessment, and alternate models of assignments timelines, etc.). Thanks to the presenters! AfrolatinoCROWD this Sunday 4/12

Join us on 4/12 as we explore Wikipedia resources for Afrolatino/as in Spanish, Portuguese, Garifuna and English. Please let your students know as well.

We will also get a brief intro to Wikimedia and Wikipedia and learn what gaps exist about Afrolatino/as in the largest online reference site in the world and ways to use this resource to make Afrolatino/a children and adults more digitally skilled and more knowledgeable about their culture, history and languages.

We will have presentations by:
