Semantics edit
OK Let's not forget Wikicite semantics.
What isn't entirely clear is whether the only intended semantics is pure citation. Comment fields I think should be an important aspect of each entry.

Adopted syntax edit
Pending a formal syntax, I'm stating an adoption of Wikipedia:Cite_sources#Citation_templates. Data collected in those fields will be useful for future uses. (SEWilco 8 July 2005 20:00 (UTC))
