Polynesia requested articles edit

If anyone is looking for articles to write for this, there's now a long (but incomplete) list on Wikipedia:WikiProject Polynesia#Requested articles. --IdiotSavant (talk) 01:07, 6 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Article list and extended content edit

Last month User:Kanashimi shifted the current part of the article list to a subarticle:

Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge/3001–4000

while leaving the older parts (articles 1 - 3000) in place. I'm wondering if a) they should also be moved; and b) whether the current part should be moved back, and only split out again when it is full. --IdiotSavant (talk) 03:29, 1 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Well, I think there is a problem about Category:Pages where post-expand include size is exceeded... If we solve this problem, the list should show normally. Kanashimi (talk) 03:36, 1 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
The move has definitely made the page a more manageable size. But it would be good if the current list was editable from the main page. Probably just putting a pointless header in there would do it. --IdiotSavant (talk) 03:42, 1 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
So I've turned the first two lists - from 1 - 2000 - into wikilinks rather than inclusions. Which means the page renders properly when 3000 - 4000 is included (and with room to grow). I've also added a pointless header in the current template to enable it to be edited directly from the main page, which is ugly, but functional. Does this work for people? --IdiotSavant (talk) 04:41, 1 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
