Saw your post
editI saw your post on the architecture discussion page. You know, a good place to start looking for glaring omissions in the world of architecture, I think, is at the National Register of Historical Places WikiProject. I come across a lot of missing architectural topics in my work on Registered Historic Places in Illinois. That's how I came to start most of the articles in Category:Barns as well as French Colonial. I have noticed there is no article for a Jerkinhead roof aka Jerkin roof. Those lists are a good a place to start and can be found on the NRHP project main page, down the page a bit.A mcmurray 15:00, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Puzzled
editSkysmith, puzzled. After working to resolve some of the missing architects on your list, I see that many slightly-wrong entries have been re-instated by your last update. I'm guessing there's some sort of semi-automated process at work here. For instance, there is no significant Boris Lofan, but I resolved that to Boris Iofan, and your latest update has made the nonexistent Mr. Lofan reappear. Same with Irving Gill vs. Irving J. Gill, etc. Just as a suggestion you may want to look at that architect list for accuracy. Cheers. --Lockley (talk) 07:57, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Very Puzzled
editThis article is entitled "Architecture and Engineering", but all I see is articles related to the construction industry. Also, what on earth is an Engineer Architect?
OK, never mind that, my real question: if I would like to suggest articles for creation under the topic of manufacturing and/or mechanical engineering, where would I do so? Is this page the right place? lucideer 07:03, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
