Scotland

This list includes many lochs which are sea lochs i.e. arms of the sea - primarily the Atlantic. Does it really make sense to include them here?--JBellis 11:38, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

No. If they are included here, it's because the articles' talk page use {{lake project}}. Once that template is removed, it will disappear from this list. -- User:Docu

We don't use the term lake in Scotland (see the note on Lake of Menteith - which is the only natural example, and even that by folk etymology) and it actually is slightly offensive to many people here to do so.--MacRusgail (talk) 18:26, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
