Nonparallelism

I reverted a change that made the verb tenses nonparallel. "X was introduced, passed by Congress and signed" works; "X was introduced ..., was passed by Congress ... and was signed ..." is technically grammatical and sometimes necessary in a long sentence, but redundant; "X was introduced, passed by Congress and was signed" doesn't work because it expands to "X was introduced, X passed by Congress, and X was signed". I have no objection if you want to go with option 2 and add "was" twice. - Dank (push to talk) 12:55, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
