May want to remove some of the blank space between </div> and "A '''[[binary star]]''' system ...." The paragraph is not beginning at the top of the page right now. -- 199.71.174.100 22:46, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

ALERT: Geometry Mistake
editSomeone made a gross error in Geometry. The Featured Article entry says:
"If binaries happen to orbit in a plane perpendicular to our line of sight, it is possible for them to eclipse each other; ..."
which is wrong: if that were tne case, we would never see them eclipsing each other, as any one of the angles Star1-Star2- Earth would always be a right angle (90°).
On the other hand, the actual featured article (Binary star) says:
"If binaries happen to orbit in a plane containing our line of sight..." which is correct.

- Yeah, I think you're right. Thanks, I've corrected it.--Pharos 18:44, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
