This TFA column is unique (so far, in my tenure) in having a sentence that isn't supported by its article. It comes from Hurricane Donna (and the article on the 1960 season): "Brenda was the last tropical cyclone to hit the mainland U.S. before the devastating Hurricane Donna, which killed at least 364 and did close to a billion dollars in damage (in 1960 dollars)." I asked about this over at WT:TROP. The relevance is a little tangential, but I think it's there, and without this sentence, this column would have been way under the usual minimum character count.
