Um, why is there nothing here? Shouldn't there be something that says what the subject specific notability guidelines are? How to use them? In general terms? I realize there are a lot of actual guidelines, but shouldn't there be an umbrella that says what they're all meant for and that is not part of the general notability guidelines? Just a thought. Am mystified that the page exists but is blank.A loose noose (talk) 20:20, 29 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hm. Doesn't seem anyone's checkin' this page. Am going to try mentioning some other editors here and see if they will respond and offer input. Fuhghettaboutit, , Kat, BenAveling, Uncle G, and Eluchil404, were involved in putting together some of the actual guidelines. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by A loose noose (talkcontribs) 10:54, 2 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Okay, it's been a month now, and so far no one anywhere, even the people I thought I had "pinged" by mentioning their names, has shown up. Am not sure if this means the topic is so taboo that no one dares to get involved in it or if it is simply that no one cares. I am far too inexperienced to begin actually writing up anything that might pass for guidelines here, but on the other hand it could be an interesting learning experience for me and maybe creating something and putting it on the project page will finally get someone's attention, even if all they do is tell me that I should not do this. It just seems like there should be SOMEthing on this page. So I guess maybe I am going to try taking a shot at looking at the subject specific guidelines, one by one, and seeing if I can get a sense of how they are supposed to work, and then putting what I come up with in the project page for review of some kind (?). Again, am just not sure how this is supposed to work. I hate spending lots of time working on a thing only to have someone else come along and undo it, but hey, Wikipedia seems to be full of that sometimes! So forgive me in advance for what I am about to do, and please, anyone, step in and help out if you can. I would appreciate it a ton! Thanks! A loose noose (talk) 05:39, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

I take it back. There is just too much I don't know yet to be able to do this and not make a huge mess. Let me beg again for someone else to come along and write this stuff up!!! A loose noose (talk) 06:12, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
